The Creation Museum Posted January 3rd, 2008 in General

I am a firm believer in science and evolution, but I still want to see the Creation Museum in Kentucky. I want to see what is going through the idiots' heads who believe the garbage in there.

Bad magazine subscription Posted January 1st, 2008 in General

I don't mean to sound like a spoiled brat saying this, but...
First, I'm 15 and I enjoy MAD magazine. I haven't had a subscription for a while, so I asked my aunt and uncle for a new one for a year.

Christmas day, I open a gift the size of a magazine.
I think "Yes! I got a MAD subscription!"
No, I didn't.
They got me a year-long subscription to...

MADKids.
I mean, I didn't expect to get everything for Christmas, but don't my aunt and uncle know I'm 15, and too old for MADKids?
It's for 8 year olds!

Who uses the handicapped stalls? Posted January 1st, 2008 in General

Who uses them who's not handicapped?

Guilty as charged.
Response to: Close your eyes... Posted December 23rd, 2007 in General

9/11 was not a myth! You people try to get attention by spamming a national tragedy.
People died during 9/11. You're mocking them.
Go die in a hole.

Teeth falling out in a dream means something.
Check a dream book or something.
I rarely have those dreams but I have had them before.

Response to: Are you scared of the dark? Posted December 21st, 2007 in General

I'm not afraid of the dark,
however in the dark it's easier to imagine irrational fears, and it makes me uneasy.

No.
I believe a muslim or a woman could be president, but there are so many idiots I doubt people would listen.

No.

But people should be free to pray where ever they wish unless they interrupt a class.

I agree. If someone wants to quietly say the Lord's Prayer or whatever, as long as the class is not disrupted and others aren't forced to say it, it's fine.
And yes, I'm against the 15 minutes of silence in schools.

Jesus "Died for our sins" Posted December 20th, 2007 in Politics

I have two questions that I really do not know, and would like to get an answer of.
This is not anti-religion, this is a question.

In Christianity, people say that when Jesus was crucified, he "died for our sins" and "is the Savior, the Messiah."

Question 1: How did he die for "our sins"? I thought he was thought to be a menace by the Romans so he was killed.

Question 2: If Jesus was the Messiah why is there still strife, war, and unholiness in the world? Isn't the coming of the Messiah supposed to end that?

Again, I do not know the answers for these questions but if I asked them to anybody at school I'm pretty sure they'd be insulted (I live in a largely Christian area.)

Answer me, NG.

Irony in school. Posted December 19th, 2007 in General

In biology we're learning about the effect of pollution, global warming, etc.
Today we learned about paper and how it's processed, etc.
Our assignment:
Write a 3 page essay why it's important not to waste paper.

Ironic?

Cutting down on swearing Posted December 14th, 2007 in General

I used to swear like a sailor, but not anymore. I'm cutting back on swearing.
I'll say dang and crap, but not damn or shit anymore.
Swearing excessively is immature, I found out.

Of course, I won't be exempt from swearing under my breath or when I'm angry.
Music's adrenaline rush Posted December 14th, 2007 in General

Does anybody have any music that gives them an energy rush?
A song that acts like a cup of coffee?
I have some songs that have that effect on me.

I'll keep that secret, it'd sound stupid if I told you what mine were.

Response to: Just wondering... Posted December 14th, 2007 in Politics

I hope what you say isn't true, wanting to kill people who insist Buddhism is a religion.
Well, Buddhism takes off from Hinduism. Buddhism (my information may be inaccurate) does not concentrate on deities as much as Hinduism and focuses more on being a good person, and believes in an afterlife (by that I mean reincarnation.)
That's pretty much what religions focus on -someone to worship and an afterlife, with some "be a good person" rules.

Drinking The blood of Jesus Posted December 13th, 2007 in Politics

Apparently, in some sects of Christianity pork is not eaten because its composition or something is similar to human flesh, which would be cannibalism.

This is what I was taught in class.
If that's true, how come during communion or whatever kids line up to "drink the blood and eat the flesh" of Jesus.
Wouldn't that be considered cannibalism, at least internally

Because no matter what, that wine and cracker are not turning into blood and flesh.
