I don't know though, I think there are various aspects of games (story, design, etc) can be considered art but I don't think the game as a whole is. I think of it this way. A really beautifully carved chess piece can be art. But the game of Chess itself isn't art.
I was at first thinking French (the lack of hard consanants bugs me) but it has to be the slow southern accent. At regular pace I can take it but some of them just draw it out so damn slow that I want to strangle them.
Things can't keep getting smaller forever, if they keep shrinking things it won't be long before you accidently swallow your phone with a handful of tictacs.
When life gives you lemons shout "Fuck you life! I ordered Granny Smith Apples!" Then cut life on the chest and squeeze lemon juice into it. That'll teach 'em. Stupid life.
You think it sucks and you have movers? Oh boo friggiddy hoo. Try moving all your crap totally by yourself because you're broke and your friends are flakes!
I'm going to summon the pagan spirit of Samhein to bring eternal darkness to the world.
2011 seems a fair bet at this point. Starcraft 2 seems to be more of a priority for them right now.
It's annoying because Diablo is probably my favorite PC game series.
Simply put it's the same reason you can't arrest somebody who's part of a group to legalize pot or prostitution. Being an advocate for it doesn't mean that you actually do it. Yes logically you probably do but it's about what is legally provable. I'm sure most of those guys are being very closely monitored which is the best we can do as long as the group isn't caught running it's own underage boy exchange program or something.

Liberal wackiness? Unless I totally missed something it was a reglion that was practicing it, not something the ACLU was pushing for.

Quick statistical note (often ignored by the dumber bits of the media): correlation is not causation. Obviously I haven't read these studies but that sounds awfully shallow, do they offer any explanation as to how legalized sex work caused it or just go "Look at how things got worse?" Because if it's the latter that's statistical sleight of hand.
As for the issue I've thought that prositution should be legal for quite a while. If you actually look at the things that are bad about it beyond some biblical moral code (i.e. drugs, pimps, rape, disease, etc) all of those things are either caused by or made worse by the fact that it's illegal. Prostitutes get raped because they can't go to the police because what they do is illegal. They instead have to go to pimps for "protection" and the pimps abuse them, and hook them on drugs. If it was legal and regulated (this second part is kind of important too) with regular STD screenings and the workers able to go to the police for help pretty much all the things bad about the practice would be gone.
Started out with an electric razor so I didn't cut myself, just had skin irritation.

You don't have to have surgery to be transgendered. Transgendered simply means that you indentify as the opposite gender that you were born as. It's a transexual that acually has surgery, but not all transgendered people have the means or feel the need to take it that far.
And to answer the question yes in my time in both Boston and New York City I've known quite a few transgendered people. And they're just like anybody else, some are great people and some are total pains in the ass. You can't lump them all together any more than you can any other group of people.
I still feel that the SNES was the best system with the best games ever. Yes I'm old, bite me!
At this point it's basically a cold war hold-over. The embargo was started when Castro took over as part of the anti-communist stance of the US government. It's all become a little bit silly with the cold war over for the better part of two decades and now Castro himself not in the seat of power (yes I know he put his brother there but that's splitting hairs at this point). The problem is nobody wants to be seen as a friend of communism even when it's not really seen as the threat it used to be, so a serious proposal to lift the embargo just never seems to come up.
I have no need of your puny human food!

We used to say the same crap to people born in the 70s. And in 10 years somebody will be saying the same crap about you. It's the circle of hate.

I do what I can to support the online artists that I like by buying their CD/DVD/Books or whatever. Very rare for me to flat out donate though. The only exception has been Sluggy Freelance but in donating and becoming a member you get access to exclusive products and a forum and what not so you still get a little something for it.

Is he a comedian or something?
Wikipedia doesn't explain much....shockingly.
He was a playwright who wrote a ton of plays that were awkward (IMHO) mixes of over the top comedy and heavy drama. Most of the comedy came from the Madea character that Perry plays himself. Well one of his plays (Diary of a Mad Black Woman) was made into a film and did pretty decent business. His movies aren't blockbusters but they're really cheap to make so they don't have to be (kind of like the Saw movies in that sense, interestingly both are put out by Lionsgate Studio). Once that first one hit he and Lionsgate just started adapting every play he'd ever written plus a few newer scripts into movies and have been making a pretty buck doing it. He's really very much a niche filmmaker/writer/actor because he only appeals to a relatively small audience. But because that audience is loyal and his movies are cheap to make he keeps turning profit so he just keeps going.

It's not just free time, people post inane responses just to up their count. Generally I try to limit my posts to when I actually have something to say... which is why I've been here for ever and haven't broken 2k posts yet.

The problem would be that he couldn't possibly live up to everybody's image of him. So there would inevitably be fanatics out there let down that he's too not the way they want him and they'd declare him a "false prophet" and try to take him out.
It was cut down just so you could put shiny crap on it and throw it out a month later, this was payback.
Have to side with the DS on this one, many more great games in way more genres. PSP could be good but just doesn't have the games to back it up.
