You don't always have to be winning to be getting over. Look at Foley's famous HIAC match, he LOST that match but all anybody remembers are the crazy bumps, even Taker's involvement in that match has become incidental. Wins and losses don't always matter.

source: www.f4wonline.com

For those keeping track, Dolph Ziggler has taken part in twenty-six Intercontinental title matches at various events (televised and non-televised) within the past few months, losing all but two. He won one match via count-out with another match being ruled a double count-out. Furthermore, he has come up short in retrieving the title on television on seven different occasions including Night of Champions, SummerSlam, Hell in the Cell and four separate episodes of Friday Night SmackDown.

Ziggler was at one point scheduled to win the title from Rey Mysterio over the summer, but the high-flying Superstar vetoed dropping the title to him on more than one occasion. When push came to shove as a result of a 30-day suspension for violating the company's drug testing policy in early September, Mysterio agreed to drop the title to John Morrison.

Now it appears that the ship has sailed on Ziggler nabbing the gold as WWE officials have reportedly "given up on him."

also about carlito
remember when he was considering leaving WWE a couple of years back and how much WWE fought hard for him to stay? now days it looks like WWE wouldn't even care if a sack of bricks fell out of the sky and crushed him..
I know I've heard that Carlito can become quite unmotivated, but still he is a good wrestler to have on your side.. it was a big mistake splitting him and primo up.. If WWE does decide to keep Carlito around, they should switch him to ECW.. he'd make a pretty good fit there

I'm not entirely disappointed, it's not everyday that someone different gets a shot at the title
but i dunno... Sheamus is still too new
Don't get me wrong, he's pretty damn good.. hopefully a future HOFer.. but this scenario does remind me of how WWE gave Umaga that really huge push too early in his run, then after cena beat him at RR he just started moving down the ladder and sorta floating around the midcard area
But I think I know the meaning of this push.. apparently in an Interview, HHH stated that he's become pretty tight with Sheamus, so much that they actually work out today regularly.. so if Trips has this guys back, then he'll most likely get alot of chances

also now apparently WWE has "given up" on Jack Swagger too.. I'm not even gonna get started with this one.. If you wanna know what I think about it, just read read what I wrote about WWE "giving up" on Dolph Ziggler.. It pretty much sums it up here.

Apparently WWE has "given up" on Dolph Ziggler.. is it Ziggler's fault? hell no!
If there's someone who has been booked so weakly lately Dolph is one of the first wrestlers that comes to mind, he has had many opportunities for a push and he never got the chance to take the ball and run with it.. but he's not doing anything wrong
his wrestling skill is good, he gets a good reaction from the crowd, people like him
so i don't get how they're "giving up on him" They didn't give him the title when mysterio had to drop it, I'm fine with Morrison getting it.. but when Ziggler lost that 2 out of 3 falls match, I feel they made a poor decision.. Ziggler needs the title more than Morrison

I seriously hope they will reconsider Ziggler's position, he is real good talent

at times like this i wish eddie were still alive.. he would of made a good part in this new feud, whether he was heel or babyface

bischoff on the other hand...

also RAW has a new theme song.. which is by nickelback... nickelback?!
i mean i will admit i was getting sick of that papa roach song, but replacing it with a band who almost everyone of their songs sound the same... bah..
here's a link to their new theme song

and in those couple of minutes with him chucking around mysterio like a rag doll he showed pretty much more personality than he has the past 4 and a half years when he was a babyface

i think i'm gonna like this change

that's pretty cool, i liked that guy... he was actually going pretty good too before his release, being jericho's protege, let's see if he'll be back on that level when he makes his re-debut.

I'll put it this way... i don't think he cut his hair... i think he shaved it
here's a sneek peek from matt hardy's twitter page

OK at bragging rights i'm definately behind smackdown.. i can tolerate McIntyre on team SD!.. but Eric Escobar?.. and him getting the spot over Matt freakin Hardy?! is this a match an elimination match?.. if it is im willing to bet that escobar will get eliminated not only first, but within seconds of the match's start (mike knox, survivor series 06)
it's painfully obvious that team raw will win, smackdown's side is looking quite weak.. they really could of had better people on there (Matt Hardy, R-Truth, Hart Dynasty, Finlay.. hell i would even be happy if Kung Funaki took Escobars place!)
or awesome scenario (it most likely won't happen but it'd be pretty sweet) .. on the night of the ppv escobar is found unconscious backstage and when everyone comes out and the match is about to begin ..... "you think you know me.." edge returns to fill the spot on team smackdown
to me it would make sense, edge has been known for taking out people's spots in matches (kofi kingston, no way out 09) ALSO it could be done to take a shot at vickie, who he was paired with for most of 2008..
but he's probably not going to come back until at least early next year, and it already seems like he's locked in a feud with jericho when he comes back.. but man it would be cool to see it happen

watched RAW in it's entirety for the first time in ages.. was it just me, or was it a total jobfest?
match losers of last week, jobbed
ted jr., jobbed
jillian, jobbed
marty janetty, jobbed
team smackdown, jobbed

very lackluster raw, but i gotta say seeing santino marella dressed as charlie brown.. it made my day.. specially the good grief line hahaha

also the new Smackdown vs Raw video game is on its way out, It comes out Thursday over here but I have a feeling that it might be released here tomorrow.. it always released a day or two early every year, I'm looking forward to playing it.. it has potential to be the best game in the smackdown series!

Shane McMahon has officially resigned from the WWE, the resignation takes effect on the first day of 2010.
Not really a reason why, but it's on WWE.com.. I think it's legit.. if it were a storyline they would of probably had Shane come out and cut a promo about "losing his smile" lol

Team Raw
DX, Cody Rhodes, Kofi Kingston, The Big Show, Jack Swagger and most likely Mark Henry

my predictions for team Smackdown
Chris Jericho, Dolph Ziggler, Hart Dynasty, Matt Hardy, R-Truth & Kane

also Melina's been traded to RAW, while Beth Phoenix has been traded to Smackdown
score one for smackdown!

So, apparently Bret Hart has put his grudge against WWE behind him and is interested in making a comeback. I for one am excited for this even if he doesn't wrestle (which I'm guessing he won't.. or maybe every now and then.. probably wrestlemania) It would make sense if he was on the raw brand aswell as the smackdown brand, seeing as DX is on RAW and would make an interesting storyline, and the Hart Dynasty is on Smackdown where he could probably be the manager of.. if he was on the Smackdown brand... man.. Smackdown would just ass rape Raw with a knife (not that it already is)

But nothings official yet so i'm trying to not get my hopes up.

Yeah true, but Ryder's new gimmick and Kidd debuted pretty early on this year.. Ryder was like April, Kidd was in February.. ok maybe DH Smith arrived a bit too late.. Ryder was appearing regularly on ECW as was Smith, but i understand that both are only in the midcard level.. but then whenever i see that Jesse and Festus made it in, it just makes me think why couldn't they pull some strings to get Kidd and Ryder in.. especially Kidd seeing how early in the year he debuted... but hey there's still some hope.

I kinda like the idea of Bob Orton, Dusty Rhodes and Ted Sr. being in, especially Dusty seeing as now Dusty, Cody & Goldust are all in the same game.

Ryder, Sheamus and Yoshi for DLC plskthx

Today Dusty Rhodes, Bob Orton, Ted Dibiase & Vince McMahon were revealed as unlockables (or legends).. If there are any more unlockables (which is a fair chance that there could be) Ryder and Hart Dynasty will definately be in there.. remember, for last year they didn't reveal the unlockable wrestlers in the countdown until the actual game came out.

if not, they will be DLC... Ryder is a big personality in ECW.. not to mention the Hart Dynasty.. it would be unusual for THQ to turn a blind eye one them. I also have a feeling that Hurricane would be in the DLC section too.

if goddamn Jesse and Festus are in the game, why cant Ryder and Hart Dynasty be too?

I watched ECW the other day.. I'm actually starting to like ECW, they have pretty good wrestlers on there when you think about it... Christian, Shelton, Regal, Ryders improving heaps, as is Ezekiel Jackson.. Goldust, Sheamus is on a roll
I like that they're giving Ryder a push for the ECW title.. even though he lost in a match earlier that night which i don't get.. But it's good to see alot of different wreslters getting chances at the title.

SD is better written then Raw so there are good opportunities for some good storylines to be made with Batista around.

It's not that i want him to get injured.. but it is bound to happen. He's one of the most fragile wrestlers i've seen if not the most fragile. Also I really preferred him on RAW, he made smackdown... kinda boring.. If you look through the ppvs when dave was on sd, you'll notice he was in mostly every smackdown main event, it really got tiresome just seeing him on smackdown every week.. that's why i was glad to see him drafted to RAW.

If I were able to suggest something to wwe, turn him heel.. his babyface character really brings nothing to the table anymore.. he needs a update.

On another note, I hear Hogan is having a tour across Australia where he'll be vs'ing flair.. as an Australian I'm wondering on whether or not i should go, one of my friends has showed interest.. while I'm a fan of Classic Flair and Hogan, now days i think a match between them 2 will be mediocre.. But one of the only reason I'm thinking about going is that it'll probably be a once in a lifetime thing, I can tell my kids in the future that i've seen 2 of the most famous wrestlers go against eachother live.

Hey guys long time, no see

Man Hardy's pretty much just dug his grave in the wrestling business... or in WWE at least..
he can kiss his return goodbye, hell he might aswell retire from the wrestling business, he could be doing 3 - 14 years..
it's so ironic that just before he left smackdown he was fighting for his dignity against CM Punk about the whole drug habit thing, yet just after he leaves he's busted for a shit load of pills and some coke..

Honestly, I consider Jeff one of my favorite wrestlers, and i hope he does get help and can one day make a comeback.. but sadly i don't think that will be the case. I just really hope these bad events don't rub off onto Matt Hardy and have WWE start treating him like shit for his brother's actions.. Matt's pretty much been a clean guy through his whole wrestling career, he hasn't been suspended, he hasn't been busted with any drugs, he's been involved with one personal controversial story, and it got him fired over it, but even WWE could see that he wasn't in the wrong so they rehired him shortly after.

also i heard that WWE were intending on making a DVD about Jeff Hardy but it's quickly been scrapped after what happened, not to mention if anyone saw breaking point yesterday, even though he didn't come out and say it was Jeff Hardy, Punk pretty much maid an "I told you so" statement during one an interview segment.

anyway on a different note, Batista to Smackdown again... ugh, smackdown was doing so good.. now batista's coming to wreck it.. i wouldn't sweat it though, his 'annual injury' will take place soon.

I really like Legacy's theme right now, it was so good i made it my ringtone lol

Dolph Zigglers is pretty cool, cant find a full clear version of it though, Big Show and Jericho's newest theme is pretty good.. I like The Brian Kendricks theme, and Edge's theme too.. Alter Bridge are an amazing band

not a fan of Voices.. it doesn't sound terrible, but Burn My Light was WAY better, even though orton didn't care for it..

i saw it on a recent post and i gotta agree, one of the best themes from the past has to be the broods theme, dunno why i like it.. but when ever it plays.. i just get right into it
