He didn't mention a radio. When did he mention a radio?
I think his point is that the popularized rappers of today uphold this so-called image, and the image is utter scum. It seems like it's a downhill battle.
To actually answer the OP though:
Rush - self-titled; what an amazing debut album. nothing quite like it
Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin III; rumors supposably say this album was in response to another acoustic album that had recently came out before it, but that doesn't deny that it was a masterpiece.
Mars Volta - Frances the Mute; I don't know what I think about this album, but everything works so well, and the extreme time signatures make it so complex, but remains simple to listen to.
Aereogramme - A Story in White; amazing band and album
The Beatles - Revolver; I could do without Yellow Submarine, but still a classic.
Floater - Glyph; northwest band with an insanely sick album. Best Floater album by far.
The Who - Quadrophenia; probably my favorite album ever. Wonderful album art, as well.
Porcupine Tree - Deadwing

Yeah. Though I'm not sure if it had any connection with Rosetta Stoned. maybe the reaction from the people involved with the government funding the research of LSD? I'm not sure, there are always many ways to look at the same thing.

If that happens, then you've created a time paradox, and now all of the Tool songs with meaning are just about all the different ways you can spell "Fish". Like "Ghoti"I suppose if you count the 0 syllables at the start of the song, it counts ;)

Well, don't get me wrong, now-a-days, I don't think ANY of their music is incredibly deep, at least into the mathematical aspects. The Rosetta Stoned analysis involves the song that ties into it (Blame Hoffman, Hoffman being the 'father' of LSD) and the Rosetta Stone (a "key" that was "lost"). I'm not going to go into detail, because it kinda goes against my point :p

I know that, I believe me, I once looked for any meaning I could ifnd. But my point is that if you look hard enough you will see ANY meaning. Mathematics is like that.

1 syllable, 1 syllable, 2, 3, 5, 8, 5 3. That's Fibonacci.
Actually, the Fibonacci Sequence goes 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, etc. It never goes back down.
Speaking as a rabid Tool fan, who once over-analysed their music, I can safely say most of the "coincidences" are arbitrary. If you'd actually look into the the lyrics themselves, you can see just what the song says about over-analyzing. It's funny, Tool actually looks down on people who think they are "Gods," they just want people to think for themselves (one of their many messages).
FYI, the rearrangement of the song order isn't based of Fibonacci at all, but the golden spiral. I forget exactly how it maps out.
So CAN you deny the presence of Fibonacci in the album? Most certainly. Look up the 23 enigma; if you look for something, you will most likely see it, no matter how hard you have to look.
I wanted to add something for inspirations purposes; when I read the OP about 'melodies that rain,' I immediately thought of this song, at least it's intro. I wish it were more piano heavy, but the beginning is beautiful, and not to mention the lyrics.
The Who - Love, Reign O'er Me
