I've played a bit of Texas Hold 'em for real money and a lot on Facebook for the sake of passing the time.
It's funny how many people have no real idea of how to play.

A two of diamonds and a seven of clubs? I'm going all in!!!

I'd be inclined to guess that being wireless controllers might have something to do with this.

I haven't damaged my PS3 controller in any way but it's definitely taken a lot more knocks than my PS2 controller ever did just from leaving it sitting around, whereas my PS2 controller (being wired to the console) was always left on top of or next to the console.

I also tend to lose it a lot which is a problem I never foresaw when I first heard about wireless controllers.

Why is it under my bed? Why?

From what I've seen, Tiger Woods seems to be better with the Motion+ on the Wii than it is on the PS3 and 360.

It's generally getting better ratings.

As helpful your suggestion may have been to a complete moron or to the mentally handicapped , I actually have an IQ above 7 and have therefore attempted everything that would occur to any reasonably minded person.

So, when faced with the problem of getting onto the pier, I actually did try to actually get on the pier.

I basically don't think you're going to be able to help me so I'm going to try to reply to any more of your suggestions in advance.

I've tried jumping (which you can't actually do while swimming), weapons (also no good whilst swimming), drowning, force glitching, good old fashioned button mashing, Googling other sites, reading the manual, and, just in case you think that I didn't really think it through, I have in fact tried swimming out.

Way to read, can't read.

I am stuck in a place from whence I cannot swim and am unable to use weapons. There is no 'all the way back' to swim as I am under the pier.

Some games are still glitchy as hell (Gears of War 2).

I was actually just thinking about this the other day. Game companies (for PS3 and 360) can now release games when they're not entirely finished and just patch them later.

It doesn't seem like a huge problem until you realise that not everyone has an internet connection.

............when in the water?

Basically, I finished the last 3 missions without saving and then decided to jump off Happiness Island to steal an unmanned boat.

But as I went to jump, I fell down at the end of the pier and got trapped inside a few of its struts. I can't swim out, I can't drown (as far as I know) and I can't use any weapons.

I really don't feel like going back to do those missions again so I was just wondering if there's any way to commit suicide automatically or a way to force yourself to drown.

I'm playing on the PS3 if it makes any difference.
