In the UK its dd/mm/yy, in the US it's mm/dd/yy, in my country it's dd.mm.yy (note the dots instead of the slashes), some people write hyphens instead of slashes or dots... too confusing, really.

Not an anti-America thing but I think their way of doing it makes no sense. It just doesn't.

Most things go from small to big or big to small. It'd be like displaying time in hours, seconds and then minutes where 12:20:48 would be 12:48:20 with the seconds ticking away in the middle.

I don't fully understand why we do dd/mm/yy either considering that it would make more sense to keep a pattern going where you have year/month/date/hours/minutes/seconds but it still makes more sense than fucking around with the day in the middle.

Actually you can see those things through microscopes and their direct effects with scientific explanations.
