I guess what I'm trying to say, we can do without superheros.

You just read Spider Man: Reign, didn't you?

Though I know you are joking, this may come as a SHOCK to you, as I disprove most of these:

Spiderman- When he fights he tends to fights criminals he uses tons of webs to catch them. Now think about it, those webs are extra-sticky and would take a strong agent to remove them. They'd have to remove parts of the wall or remove the entire lamp post. That can cause tons of damage to a cities economy.

You don't know much about the "depthness" of his powers. The webbing, as explained if you're a comic book nerd like me, fades/withers/melts over time. Like some kind of liquid-oragnic, it's great for capturing baddies and etc. The police would simply remove a section of the webbing and leave the rest to evaporate while taking the criminal to jail.

Superheros attract super villains which cause more damage. They build all sorts of stuff that require tons of natural resources. They can be used to help out the city.

Captain Planet dude. And also, the worst super villain Earth has ever faced are usually humans themselves, we CREATE our own villains, and supervillains as well. ALA Doctor Doom and most of Spiderman/Batman/Daredevil Rogues. They have the money and power to MAKE themselves supervillains, even without superheroes, if KingPin/any other financially decorative criminal WANTED to be a supervillain, he could do it, without prompting of a superhero. (Joker is an exception, though he was still a murderous clown BEFORE Batman, right?)

Superman-He breaks down walls when fighting. The real question is how does a telephone booth serve as suitable changing place. What does he do with that suit? Back to the damage, when a super villain attacks they destroy buildings and forest. This can even destroy the environment. Kryptonite should not just harm Superman but everyone. It is a radioactive material which will cause someone to become sick.

Lol, the suit is under his normal clothes, and spinning (Wonder Woman) incinerates them into the air, revealing his "super suit" that has adjusted to his muscle structure (I don't know the anatomy of Superman's suit, but you'd have to work with "super suit" from here. About the radioactivity, then you have to look at from Spiderman's (yes again) perspective.
His WEBBING (radioactive body fluids...?....), in a possible future, is and was enough to poison Mary Jane (some form of cancer, I forget). In which case, almost ANY super hero-villain battle is to blame. You can't blamee them for the collateral damage (for those of you who have seen Pixar's The Incredibles). I mean, what is Supes supposed to do when a 600-ton, GIANT Metallo shows up in the center of Metropolis with a laser cannon in his mouth?
Smile at him and deflect the blast into space?

Not only does the economy and environment get damaged but peoples lives as well.

Well, that happens with NORMAL criminal activity. Quo, superheroes are needed as they work better and faster than the FBI in 7 months.

Batman-His has no super powers but neither do his villains, except poison Ivy and Sub-zero. But these guys actually kill people. Batman is what truly drives these guys to commit crimes. Gotham was already full of criminals but none of them were as dangerous as "The Riddler" before he arrived. But I think ist was Scarecrow who killed his parents. Batman's villains are just crazy.

Can't really disprove ANYTHING there. They have no superpowers really, and there the only ones SHOWN to actually KILL people rather than crush them or vaporize them or wipe them from existence. Batman "SCARES" people...

Response to: Why are asian girls hot to you all? Posted March 29th, 2008 in General

Because most Asian Girls (not all, I would never know) actually take CARE of themselves, their bodies.

Not to downplay AMericans, but what's the story you hear on the news nowadays when it's not Bush, Obama, Clinton, Terroists, Iraq, or some mediated form of global actvity not involving men?

So-and-So pop diva in car accident just this...

Lindsay to star in porno right after rehab...

Transvestite hooks up with singing sensation...

Teen Queen Idol arrested for drug-hoarding.

American girls, the popular ones, almost always seem to crack under pressure. I'm not truly into celebrities, but anytime I turn to them, I'm hearing about some teenage/adult actress who's doing drugs and now it's all anyone can think about.
When it's not celebrities, it's woman who went psycho or lost it and did something life-threatening or just REALLY stupid, got on the 9 o' clock news for it, and then actually tried to DEFEND themselves in court.

Of course, there will be someone who is going to go against this, but for such subject matter, go ahead.

Once again, for the 1.22141% of girls on this site, I apologize if this offends you in anyway, but then again, why are you on Newgrounds to begin with, let alone reading this thread?

Bull-SHIT.

First, you screwed up a classic line (puprosely of jokefully, you still suck). It's "One shall stand, and one shall fall"

Second, you punned "AllSpark".

And third, no one is EVER gonna win, because Google will become it's own browser and annihilate everything.

So I just got my Action Replay today and I decided to use the coolest feature: The Debug Menu.

After playing around with it for a bit, and then with my bro in versus, I set up a match between Crazy Hand, Mario, Giga Bowser, and Master Hand.

Now, Master Hand AND I (Crazy) used our laser attack, but Mast'ers didn't stop. No, his kept going, even during other attacks. And it HITS, in addition to antoher attack the laser/electricity stun damage is hitting!

Has anyone else ever seen this glitch?

Now, I know not a DAMNED one of you lot is gonna take this argument SERIOUSLY or listen to what I have to say. I'm also not a moderator, so I can't end this with my EPIC last laugh. So read or don't read.

Sonic and Mario.
The difference?

One saves animals, one saves A princess over and over again.
One's AN animal, one's a plumber gone psuedo-leader king guy.
One's nintendo. One's sega.

You have to take this battle down to two categories, past all the idiots fans who just want to scream mindlessly without listening to reason or logic:

Physical Confrontation and Popularity.

Physical Confrontation:

This is where the most faggotry is instituted. Through youtube, newgrounds, forums, and etc.

Sonic has super SPEED, he can double jump and is invulnerable so long as he has RINGS (which he tends to have a lot of regardless). The CHAOS EMERALDS, a power-up, allow him to become INVULNERABLE with rings.
Mario is known for his JUMPING abilities, and overexcesses numerous power-ups to maintain combat capability. Mario, by himself, can do NOTHING beyond that except for GROUND POUND, and Spin Attack (which technically is a power-up attack as well).

Now, what seems to be the obvious winner. Yes, I know, anyone with half a brain can figure it out. But it's like Naruto Uzumaki versus San Goku, the people who clash are virtually ignorant of the FACTS.

In an UNARMED fight, Sonic wins.

He has super speed NATURALLY, as well as the aiblity to curl up into a PORCUPINE/SPIKE BALL, which against human flesh, would SERIOUSLY cut you up. In the games, if you delve into it, he fights ROBOTS. Robotnik's SUPER-REINFORCED machinery (bosses) isn't going to blow up instantly.

Mario fights TURTLES, DRAGONS (Nintendo-style), and WIZARDS along with other organic creatures. He JUMPS on Bowser, resulting in probably a REALLY bad headache, and eventually knocking him unconscious (defeating him). But still, he acquires the use of Powerups, and in this fight, if he were to simply jump on opponents, defeating Sonic or Samus or etc. would be short of impossible.

Put Sonic against Mario.

First of all, Sonic is fast in any matter, friction and traction tends to be a VERY little problem if you seen all media forms of Sonic instead of just the games and Sonic X. Mario can jump OVER Sonic, maybe ground pound into the ground, but will NEVER be able to actually HIT him. People who say Mario COULD clobber Sonic without powerups are idiots, short and simple.

In a POWER-UP fight, this is where the table turns slightly.

Mario has NUMBERS of cheap, classic, interesting powerups, but let's take some like the Fire Flower, Super Mushroom, Mega Mushroom, and INVINCI-STAR (MB 1). Sonic will have his rings and the chaos emeralds.

The fire flower DOES give Mario fireball-abilities. Still, this does NOT mean he can just INCINERATE Sonic willy-nilly, As in the games, Mario can fire a SINGLE fireball consecutively. Sonic could EASILY dodge this. These is also the DOUBLE FIREBALL SPIN ATTACK, again, Sonic could EASILY dodge this. All the fire flower would really do for him is give Mario ONE-endurance hit against ANY of Sonic's agile attacks.
The Super Mushroom would do even LESS. It gives him ONE endurance, and he can now perform the spin attack at will (depending on the game). He can also, in a sense, jump HIGHER. Sonic can dodge, speed past, and with his Spin Dash attack EASILY break through this 2-hit power. Nothing special at all.
The MEGA MUSHROOM is where the table is TRULY differed. As seen, Mario becomes a giant. But this power is not accessed OUTSIDE of SMDS, and being a game, it restricts the ability to a certain level (i.e - automatically destroying buildings, enemies, walls, even bosses). Sonic could NOT easily attack Mario (not counting the auto-fall of the board effect), but his spin dash attack could cause a serious gash if used properly. Still, Mario would most likely WIN this round, if he were to manipulate the valuable seconds to DEFEAT Sonic, let alone keep up with him. Sonic COULD counteract this with the chaos emeralds, which last LONGER with the appropriate number of rings, and become Super Sonic who could stand up to Mega Mario's strength with blinding speed and chaos energy.

And then you have the ORIGINAL Power Star, the Invincibilty Star. This lasts, depending on the version, for less than ten seconds. It gives Mario NOTHING except for invincibility, no UBER-COOLNESS or SPEED or STRENGTH. Sonic could simply WAIT OUT the full TEN SECONDS, then strike when Mario is defenseless. Sonic would SHARE this drawback with his own INVINCIBILITY POWER-UP, but his NATURAL abilities more than make up for the detransformation.

Regardless, Sonic wins BOTH matches. You could pull out ALL of Mario's powerups one by one, and just about ALL of them are temporary, small ENDURANCE, side effects that only back up Mario's SMALL repetoire of natural abilities by a thin margin.

Then there is Popularity.

I'm running out characters, so the easiest way to break this is: Mario wins by a landslide.

Sonic fans can rejoice in the fact that Nintendo hypes up things with multi-million dollar campaigns and has more room and publicity to franchise Mario and his properties into an overdone series of sports, mini, and party/third games, but they manage to do it WELL.

Mario is simply more OUT THERE and is better handled and attended to than Sonic.
Yes, at first when SEGA was a software design company, he was loved and represented the "cool and hip" side of gaming, while Mario represented the old, unfun, ancient design of gaming that not even 80's-90's gamers could stand, but as time went on the OWNERS became careless, starting somewhere about Sonic Adventure. Voice actors, story, theme, concept, and with the newest games such as Rush Adventure and Next-Gen, even the GAMEPLAY, declined in favor of graphics.

Super Mario Galaxy and Nights" Journey of Dreams are perfect examples of what fun Next-Gen COULD have been had the developers worked on gameplay rather than sellout on graphics. SM Galaxy was a VERY good blend-mix of this.

Mario also fits better because he is HUMAN, allotting FAR more sense and realism to Party, minigame, sports games rather than cameos.

So that's my rant. If the thread hasn't been deleted yet, I'm blogging this.
