1,266 Saves,gotta love Clock Day.
Have earned 1,317 protection points so far as of this moment today. I've been keeping track and I think I only missed 11 submissions.
I've been at the second to last b/p level for ages and nothing is better than clock day to knock it out while wasting the least amount of time.

It has been a very, very long time since I've ever bothered getting b/p points. I've been hanging in the second to last b/p level for a while, so I decided I'd sleep in yesterday and then stay up today and rack up the points when it's the most efficient time to do so, because I know I won't be able to bother at any other time.
As of now since midnight, I've received about 760 protection points. I've only missed 11 flashes.
We have enough of these topics without this four-month-old one being dug out of the grave.
No sig threads, and rating threads are generally discouraged as well.
This is not a viable subject title

It had to be made"bannable", because people were spamming it often and it nearly never fits the context of any thread it's posted in.

Oh and my dad works at a college, so we get huge discounts on macs.
If you get 50% off on something that costs 3x more, you're still paying 50% more than you should be.
Too bad you don't even get that much.
Take life (the user's) advice and build the computer on your own. That $1100 computer I mentioned outperformed the $3200 Mac in every (or nearly every) benchmark I compared it to in a huge database. There's simply no excuse in paying three times as much for a computer that does the same things a PC does (or less) just because it has a brushed steel metal case.
Did I mention you can get brushed steel metal cases for your custom computer too? Yeah, not like it's an option on a Mac.
The "Macs are better for image/video/audio editing" thing was applicable in around 1986 and that's no longer the case. Macs and "PCs" use the same microprocessing architecture these days.
If you purchase hardware, you can expect to pay from 2x to 5x as much.
Example?
NVidia 7300 GT from Apple: $149.00
NVidia 7300 GT from Newegg: $27 ($17 after rebate)
Always, always expect ridiculous prices
I built a "PC" for $1100 and configured it on Apple.com with identical or lesser components, save for the Mac OSX operating system, and it came to about $3200.
If you purchase hardware in your first place, you might not even be able to put it in your Mac. Numerous components simply cannot be replaced, where the modular design of the "PC" is a complete non-issue. Hardware failure (or upgrading/replacing) in a Mac is something you basically need to write on your calendar.
Their monitors are complete shit.
In my personal experience, the Mac OS has crashed on me more than any operating system.
There's the whole Macs-can't-play-games-for-shit issue, but I generally don't bother bringing that up.
Those are just some of my grievances with Macs. There are more. No, I'm not a fanboy. I have to work with Macs on a regular basis. I just don't need a computer with training wheels. Some people do.
One more picture.
One of his legs also seem to be injured. I doubt this guy's gonna survive, considering I could just walk up to him and pick him up with no issue, but there's not a whole lot else I can do. Anything else before I let the little guy go, Newgrounds?

Nah
and not to go offtopic or anything, but what kind of camera do you have? All your photos that I've seen are perfect quality.
A Sony DSC-P200
Here's a not-as-good photo showing how small the bunny is by comparing it to a quarter. Sorry, I'm probably not going to do what the other guy did and take him in.
This may not be as interesting as my previous encounter with wildlife, but it's interesting nonetheless.
I was mowing the lawn earlier today when I spotted a small bunny hopping about. It was in my path, so I had to stop and investigate (or gore the poor thing, were I to not see it, which would incidentally not have been the first time). He wouldn't really move. I saw he had a small injury and was able to pick him right up and put him in a container. Some of you may know about a BBSer who had a similar experience, but that bunny is a sham in comparison to this one.
This one is way cuter and smaller, I tell you. Upon closer inspection, I saw he had an injured eye. It seems like only his eyelid, though, as I could still see him blink and move his eye around.
Sorry, I'll stop talking for now. Here's a picture.

And how would you know that my good sir.
Because you wouldn't have a need to take a 5 year old picture of a Navy SEAL in Scotland from this website and pretend it's you if you really were one.
Aside from that whole point, it's easy to tell that you're not one simply because you're posting online that you are. No real SEALs go around talking about their accomplishments and flaunting themselves. Nearly 100% of people who claim to be SEALs (Especially online) are simply lying because they want people to think they've accomplished something with their lives. By doing the very same, you're belittling the people who actually DO risk their lives in the armed forces. You should be ashamed.

Nice job killing your own thread by lying.
Probably because you posted something really short & stupid, or downright inappropriate.

Yeah, it sounds like a video card issue. However, that card requires a 400 watt power supply with 26 amps on the +12 volt rail. Check your power supply. If it's not good enough, your system will be quite unstable.
Not bad at all. Would view again. A+++
Thumbs down on the video card.
I'd pick up a Radeon HD3850 512mb instead. You can get it for $10 less after rebate.
And it completely spanks the 8600.
And the extra kicker is that those benchmarks are for the card with 256 mb video memory, and the one I linked you to that you can get for cheaper is the 512 mb.

It's just too bad that EXP is no longer displayed on the BBS! EGSC achievement still strangely absent.
And one more image. I think this concludes the pictorial segment of my "Oh snap!-esque" thread.
Discuss.

Nice job saying all that shit under the false pretense that I was trying to impress people. We have those wasps here, too.
P.S. You must be incredible, what, with your geographic location and all.
Anyway, this reminds me of those scenes you see in movies showing the aftermath of battles with bodies littering the landscape.
