Yeah. You're probably just trying to save face because everyone called you out as a dumbass for choosing a watch over a car -- a story which I still doubt is even real. Especially with someone like you who has an affinity for creating shit threads like this.

Response to: I got a car. Posted August 24th, 2008 in General

So why are you able to take pictures of your alleged watch, but you have to take a picture of the car from this website?

That's actually a common misconception. When stores offer discounts (up to 75% off), they are STILL making a profit from the sale. Someone stealing a pack of batteries is not going to affect the store one bit. They steal enough from just one battery pack sale to compensate for the loss of one pack of batteries.

Common misconception my ass. This sounds less based on a logical argument and more on a teenager who probably wants to justify having stolen something in the past. You assume that stores make a profit on everything they sell. That's simply false, but let's put that aside and focus on the "it doesn't matter if it happens once" sentiment.

"I'm not going to vote, because my one vote won't make a difference." Sound familiar? Different scenario, but same mentality. The presidential election, for example, is won by millions of people voting once. To bridge the gap I'm making here, note that all these people who steal "because it makes no difference" rack up an estimated cost $10,000,000,000 anually, but there are other estimations that are even higher. How do stores make up for that loss? Hint: It's not through being given donations.

Items being sold always have a profit margin. That is, the percentage of the item's cost that is profit. If a product has a 10% profit margin (which is high) and is stolen, the store has to sell 10 more of them just to break even. Some products even have a smaller profit margin (Think grocery stores), where hundreds more may have to be sold to cover the cost of the theft alone.

Law-abiding customers take on most of these costs. In fact, it was estimated to cost the average household $200 per year, and that's in fucking 1980. You can take your petty, house-of-cards "it doesn't make any difference" sentiment and shove it up your ass. Cause and effect. Don't they teach you this shit in elementary school?

Looks like a run-of-the-mill laptop. What's hard to believe about it?

Response to: Banned from Walmart Posted August 24th, 2008 in General

Half the reason that stores have to mark up prices on their merchandise is because people steal from them in the first place. Nice job being a part of the problem that you're all bitching about, retards.

I'm not sure if I've done it to you, but I simply delete threads pretty often, and I know I'm not the only one. It's a way of telling the topic starter that their topic was shit without wasting the time of PMing them or handing out small bans. More often than not, it makes sense to just delete a topic rather than lock it and let it get extra attention anyway.

Pay attention. This is probably the first and last time in my past, present, and future usage of the Internet in all of its entirety that you will ever see me propagating an internet meme while being dead serious about it:

You're just jealous you don't have a 5 grand watch around your wrist.

I agree with him. If somebody was going to spend that sort of money on me in the first place, I'd be pissed if they chose to spend it on a watch. I'd turn around and sell it or have him return it and just give me the money, and I'd be completely shameless about it.

And just hope it's not fake. Heh...

Yeah, if I needed someone to add text to an already existing screenshot of Windows 7 milestone 1, this guy would definitely be on the short list.

Oh, and let me repeat "Milestone 1", because when you're at that point in development of anything, it's hardly worth speculating on yet.

And you "really want a mac" why?

It's pretty useless to ask us what we think when we don't know what you want out of your computer or what is steering you towards purchasing it in the first place.

If by "better than you" you mean "better at recycling old ideas that were never originally yours", then you're probably right, as these pictures which have been cycling around the internet for years would suggest:

Californians are better than you.
