I used to play Super Mario RPG a lot but I never came past the fifth star. I really liked that game actually, it isn't complicated at all.
Paper Mario, now that was an amazing RPG, easily one of my favourite games of all time. The sequel for the Gamecube was even better imho, if you haven't palayed it by now you should definitely do it, it's just plain awesome.
