I'm still thinking of ideas for an alternate case for my backup computer.
Yeah i wouldnt use the laptop keyboard, I just dont feel like buying a motherboard small enough to fit inside of the NES case if the laptop already has one, and i have another laptop and im getting another one soon so i dont care if i mess it up, just wanted to know if it was possible before i took it apart completely and messed up the nes case. What is a grounding strap btw?

Would it be possible to take all the parts out of a shity dell laptop, and use them to make a NES pc? Im just wondering because im pretty sure that the mother board is small enough to fit in an NES and i could move around the other parts, but im just not sure if its possible to actually take the parts out without destroying them, i tried today to take the motherboard and other parts out and got bored when i got to the point where i just saw a bunch of metal plates with screws, took about 45 minutes and i got through like 25 screws but then i looked under the keyboard and i figured it wouldnt be worth the trouble to try unless i sorta knew what i was doing. Anyway, so if u know anything about this plz help me out, thanks! I could get a picture of what the laptop looks like if u need one to help but i dont got my camera nearby right now

Is it alright to have children to be in the presence of a rapper that glorifies the life of a thug and and glorifies sex? Are parents to blame? Are rappers to blame? Is the society to blame? Are the coorporations that put these things on the air to blame? Is it the whole system itself that is to blame?
Who is to say what is harmful to children and what is not?Base it on law if you'd like. Drug usage, illegal; violence, illegal;sex with a minor, illegal; date rape, illegal.
Most, or rather all of that stuff is already not shown on television during the hours that children will be most likely watching it (violence being the exception) so really you are just talking about censoring R rated movies taht 10 year olds are not going to go see anyway. By the age of about 7 children can distinguish between fiction (movies, tv, video games) and reality and are able to choose for themselves weather to follow and mesages of such harmful stuff or not. Censoring it will just make it all the more instense when they encounter it in the real world. Plus Hollywood makes millions upon millions of dollar from these movies that are not usually even shown to children so how can you sya that it would be overall helpful to the country to harm the economy while also not doing anything to protect children.
there is no way to prove that an increase in what is shown on television directly increased std's or pregnancyProve to me it doesn't and I will be happy.
I dont have to prove that it wont, im the one who wants it to stay the same. YOU have to prove that it is a worthwhile change.
free speech or free expression could only only spiral down to a society where free speech is no longer allowed or is restriced.Free speech is restricted actually today. You can't go in a crowded movie theater and yell "Fire!" nor can you go onto a plane and say "Bomb!" I don't want free speech or expression to be limited to the masses
you can do those things becuase it infringes on the rights of others, hence they are judged illegal, if there actualy is a fire or a bomb you can yell fire or bomb. if the society wants to see violence show them violence
:I only want some form of censorship so that children can make their own decision when the time comes to be instead of being influenced by some other force.
Most of the other forces you mentioned would have to be introduced to the child from one of his or her family members, after all as i said once they are about 7 they can make decisions for their own and distinguish reality from fiction. Parents dont SHOW their children the violent movies, they dont have to give them money to go buy rap cd's, but making them illegal wouldnt really change anything. If people actually like rap they will still listen to it, how is anyone to determine waht "rap" is or what amount of violence is ok? Or what if a movie is artistic and helpful to society but it contains violence would you censor that movie?
:This may include the message of no pre-marital sex so that until they reach an age when they can understand what that sort of stuff is and what can result of it, they won't know about it or can only speculate.
Why dont the parents just tell them? If there wasnt such a taboo cast on sex, partially actually from the pre matial sex thing, then people could talk openly and frankly about it and tell their children what it is about, what the risks are and anything else they would care to know about it, having a more educated society about sex would make a safer society, if from a young age kids are told about the risks of sex such as pregnancy and STD's then they will most likely wear a condem when they have sex and if they dont and they get and std and die then they deserve to. anyway i g2g for now enough rambling
Is it possible to get a pic in your signature that loads from a website? I realize this is hardly worthy of a whole topic but i didnt know where else to put it. I have noticed that on most forums you can put a signature image that is linked from another website (i.e. those stats signs that say what operating system you are running etc.) but i didnt see anyway to do that on the ng forums. Anyone know how to do this? Maybe a suggestion for the webmaster if not possible currently?

Mame.dk was closed down becuase the a$$holes at arcade at home didnt pay them money that they needed to run the website, rom-world is pretty good, but if you want to get all the roms there are places all over that you can get every rom for free on cds just paying for shipping and the cost of the cds themselves, just google it and you will find one, its something like $10, if you want to get roms its probly the best way to go, downloading one at a time can get tedious.

lol thats a funny website, pretty nasty but funny.
How can you say that restricting what children see will encourage a smart society that can think for themselves? No, censorship cannot possibly help anything, there is no way to prove that an increase in what is shown on television directly increased std's or pregnancy, or that restricting what the next generation of children see will decrease those problems, prizing anyting over the right to free speech or free expression could only only spiral down to a society where free speech is no longer allowed or is restriced. Who is to say what is harmful to children and what is not? How can we decide to restrict certain things but not others?

I know that if you had read Torah you would see that Judaism does teach forgiveness.
It teaches Jews to forgive others, to ask G-d for forgiveness for other people who sin against them, to ask G-d to forgive ourselves and for others to forgive us.
The torah also tells you to put your enemy up on a stake to display to the world but not to leave him there for more than a day, and that if you take one of the women of your enemy hostage and rape her you have to marry her, this was my sisters torah portion.

12. Read Banned Books. Read Everything About Censorship and First Amendment Issues.
:Etc.
Great list!!! Just highlighting the best points i saw. This is pretty complete, if everyone does all this we could ensure that we keep our rights and that censorship will be reduced. I would sign up for all those organizations but im still a minor and technically dont have rights anyway (doh!)

If the movies are censored then they never will be made and hence you can't even download them off of kazaa becuase they wont exist. Here in the united states, there is a censorship problem with the media, pretty much all of it has the exact same bias news reports, for example the daily news is basically the transcript for fox news. (fox news is very right wing trash tv news) The cover picture for the daily news on monday for example had a picture of two GI's lying dead in the street with the title "bastards" claiming that they were killed and then disfigured, this story has been disproved by almost every eyewitness report, only appearing the in the medical examination done by the united states military medics.
What the fuck are you complaining about? How does this have to do with anything? If you don't like how the welfare system works in this country (poorly anyway) then do us all a favor, leave. Actually since apparently you hate everyone, go and form your very own country, hey all the taxes could go right to you, aren't you special? Now in response to your random comments about people suing you, how many people do you know who you are going to invite into your house and allow them to put their hand in your blender? I mean seriously, also if they turn the blender or whatever on by themselves then they cant sue you its their own supidity.
Post a real topic taking a position on a real political issue, not random things that just piss you off, sure you can talk about stuff that pisses you off but please take a logical position on something that can be debated or at least expanded upon, with your topic there is really nothing to do except point out how bad this topic is.

The United States dosent need to invade South America, they have them in their back pocket. If you can remember all the way back to the monroe doctrine, the united states ensured that no one can take over south america in order to secure intrests in south american terrotories for themselves (and england), the united states helped set up south americas whole political system, if they had ever wanted to invade south america it would already be a part of the united states. Anyway, what is there in south america that the united states needs enough to risk the entire stability of the country in order to invade south america for, that is besides being even more hated by the rest of the world (if that is even possible)

Sell tickets and make some big bucks in tv rights, major cash infusion for the justice system to get rid of the backlogged cases.
That actually sounds like a pretty good idea, maybe we could let death row inmates "pick their poison" so to speak, so they could choose between getting shot, lethal injection or gladiator. I agree that the electric chair is just too unhumane and innefficent to be used, I'm just taking humane means into account becuase if you can jusitfy sterilizing a needle before you kill someone I think u can justify not killing them by electrocution.
RAB rocks, I like the first and the fifth the best of them all. I hope that dave can get a full show for it cause that would be awsome to watch a full half hour on HBO or something.

I wouldn't say that practicing failing is the best idea, just try your best until you pass would be a more accurate tip for a begginer. Also if you can, play 2-player mode with someone more experienced so if you fail the game dosent end.
Also, look for patterns. Pattern recognition is 50% of DDR... the rest follows once you have the patterns." Be careful over the break, and have a kikazz Thanksgiving. Byez folks.
Yeah patterns are really important, most songs will have lots of patterns that correspond with the lyrics, (i.e. the patterns will repeat everytime the same lyrics or chords are played)

who are WE to decide that they aren't ready for sex? maybe concerned adults who realize the reprocusions of having sex without a healthy respect and understanding of it. maybe, you know, people who don't want to see naive children victimized and manipulated by sick people. children aren't legal adults. they don't have the right to vote, to drive, to smoke, who are we to say they aren't ready for these rights? lets put away the dangers of STDs and pregnancy for a moment. sex still carries some heavy emotional consequences. sex isn't bad, it's just something that has to be handled maturely. kids that age are far from mature in my opinion. but i'm not from england, so what the fuck do i know?
Don't get me wrong, I'd never touch a girl younger than 16 but who are we to decide that they're not ready for sex?
Dude, if its not consensual its not even part of this argument. I think that if both concent its no ones buisness to stop them. Also everyone is saying how kids are ready and they dont know what might happen., maybe if we got rid of all the silly taboos that still permeate out society due to the catholic churches influnence in the founding of this country we could tell kids the truth so that they would know what the inherent risks are and could make an informed decision. As for someone taking advantage of someone else, that would be rape, and they should be charged as such, but penalizing those who wish to engage in consensual sex dosent make any sense, it dosent harm anyone to do so and it does not infringe on anyones rights. If parents are concerned that their daughter is gonna have sex, theyt should just talk to her about it and explain so she can understand it, society shouldnt just sweep in under the rug until people suddenly the day they turn 18 are old enough to handle everything.
How can you try to press almost 50 year old charges on people? That's rediculous. Isreal is right... for once.

But if someone is in full posession of their fauculties wants to die, and wants to pay huge ammounts of taxable fees to a doctor, good for them. We could use more tax money with the repubs in charge.
Then again the cost is probly not going to be an issue for somebody who is looking into this kind of procedure because living in a hospital in such a condition that they would want to die would most likely end up costing more in the end anyway. I beleive that if someone wants to die its not really anyones buisness to stop them, much less the government's. Also about the death peanatly, if you think about it, how is killing somebody who commited a murder right off the bat better then sending them to prison for life? if they really want to punish somebody for what they did sending them to prison is much more logical. And why would anyone be surprized if someone on death row commited suicide? What do they have to live for? Death.

Yeah I have played the Disney version for playstation, theres a pretty fun challenge mode, although there are not too many songs for it, but they are pretty fun. Only drawback is that both players have to play on the same difficulty so newbies can't really play with more experienced players that well. O, yeah and I'm interested in joining this club-majig.
