First of all, what genre of movie are you making? Is it a slapstick cartoon like Tom and Jerry or is it completely different, like a drama or something?
Thanks for the advice. I'd say the type of video I'm going for is a slapstick/action piece. I'll take your advice on the expressions.
I'm beginning production of an animated short that I plan on uploading to Newgrounds. Unfortunately, being 15 I have a limited access to voice actors and I'd rather not embarrass myself on the internet with my hybrid Afro-British voice. So I decided that I'd go 50s and make it a Tom and Jerry-esque type film with only motion telling the story. I'd also appreciate some tips on ways that I could help convey the story. The plot isn't so heavy that it can't be done without words, but there are some areas where I may need to use a caption bubble with an image, and that's something I'd like to keep to a minimum. So any assistance would not be unappreciated.
