that depends on the material and how it's made. a hollow stick wouldn't necessarily break just because it's hollow. and as far as smoking it... you hold it by the shaft to smoke, and it works just fine. lol.

believe what you want to believe... i wasn't expecting athiests to accept it, in fact i was expecting quite the opposite. why do you feel, the opposite? does the thought of conversion discomfort you? if it is alright for a theist to become an atheist, why not an atheist to agnostic/theist?

and just to avoid, the "oh, you're avoiding the point at hand" bs, despite that you wouldn't believe me anyways... i've witnessed it happen. people change... but will you acknowledge it?

Well, I wouldn't blame somebody for what he does at the last seconds of his life.
But, I'd like to point out that it's very common to lie about deathbed conversions.

:But, I'd like to point out that it's very common to lie about deathbed conversions. Darwin for example, is often still today said to have converted on his death bed, but this is entirely made up and supported by Christians who want to discredit evolution.

i could use ad hominem and ask you if you have any proof of this, and we could go into one big circle jerk. but that would be pointless. i just stated that such an event is truly a testament to mankind's frailty.

go ahead and continue to bash on christians, exalt darwin, dawkins, nietzche or whatever if it makes you feel more comfortable than discussing the topic at hand.

i find it somewhat odd that atheists, people who i view as some hardcore mofos, don't quite know how to deal with the aspect of death and dying... some even converting to a religion when death happens to someone they know/love.

my question is simply this:
if atheists are strong willed and independent, why do they fall back upon some form of religion when death or disaster strikes?

i'm not dissing them, but it was always something that intrigued me and really speaks volumes about the frailty of mankind. anyone care to discuss?

Oh yeah, I forgot that when I read someone's location, I should assume it's not really where the person lives, but where they once lived.

a textbook case of assumption. subject probably takes everything at face value.

You're just another middle-class drone who wishes he was a gangsta. There's no way you could survive in a real ghetto. As evidence, I bring up the fact that you're on fucking newgrounds in a flame war, which is about the nerdiest thing someone could do.

big deal! and if you were actually from cali, or bothered to read a profile, then we wouldn't be having the convo. :p

If you read ANYTHING I had written, you would have realized that I don't frown on graffiti, AND consider it to be art. However, there are a lot of people who want to be artists, and not many who have talent or a message to express. Hence, most graffiti is not in anyway artistic.

and if you read anything i've written you would have realized that you need to get out and do more unconventional things. lawl.

Depends on the motives behind it. If you design a beautiful piece, that expresses some sort of message that you feel strongly about, then that would be art.

Of course, that's only about .01% of all graffiti.

and then again, you'll probably only see less than .01% because most it's in hard to find places.
art is supposed to be an experience/journey. and that is why graffiti is art in it's purest form.

then why do homosexuals still try to recruit people? hm... if you've ever lived in a place with a high rate of homos, you would have at least witnessed this more than once... i think it's just an excuse, especially since people are required by law to be nice to them and not spurn their advances or otherwise be labeled as "intolerant". there are more reasons than "omg! it's against my religion!"...

for example, the elitism and militarism.

No.

No they do not.

;

yes they do. consider "underground" art if you will. graffiti is an art that has been greatly developed by gang culture. like it or not, it actually influences art, not in just one country, but world-wide.

secondly, they contribute to society by being apart of the "don't tell me culture". but instead of just staying at home angsting away, they actually get things done, establish territories, and gain affluence/influence.

with said affluence/influence, they contribute to the economy by buying luxurious things from snobby department/jewelery stores, buy cars, and build businesses.

the reason why they don't send women to the frontline is for their safety.
the military doesn't want females to become pow's because they'll become victims of rape and various other forms of vicious torture far worse than what a man would have to endure.
and to put it bluntly, they are a very attractive target to the opposing army and have a significantly lower survival rate in pow camps than men.
