Wii
Biggest pro: All around family fun
As usual, nintendo appeals to all ages. If you want gore, violence, or all of that stuff, it might be a bit of a challenge to find, but if just want some more mellow games, then this is the console to get
Biggest con:Online play
although this time, nintendo stepped up this feature, it's still generations behind the 360 and the PS3. Besides being the only one with free online play, it excludes features such as talking online, inviting people to games, etc.

Xbox 360
Biggest pros:Game library
holding the biggest gaming library any next gen console has, the 360 is ranked as the top selling next gen console for everyone, but focuses on the older teenage group.
Biggest cons:Online play and system life
Online play:Although mostly all people will disagree on this, I believe this is the biggest con the 360 has. most of my belief is based on how many little 10 year old and younger kids abuse this feature as a place to vent and brag about their skills. Again, most people probably disagree with this, but I just can't ignore all of the crap they talk about.
System life: Probably the biggest complaint microsoft keeps getting is the system life. The average life of a 360 is about 2-3 years, and it's a bit easy to get the RROD on your console.

PS3
Biggest pro:Game engine and graphics
The ps3, so far, has the best graphics out of the three consoles. I can't go into much more detail as I don't own a ps3.
Biggest con:Cost
The biggest drawback about this system is the cost of this system. with a price ranging from $400 to $500(us), it holds at the top of the list as the most expensive next gen console.
