Listen moron, do you have any idea how much it costs to host Newgrounds? Think Tom can say "Uh, we have to many visitors coming to the site, so I need 80,000 of you to stop coming! Thanks!" Or would you want him to limit how much bandwidth NG uses so it's cheaper to host, but then no one would ever be able to get through (you think NG is slow now). The point is Newgrounds costs a lot of money every month to host, and the only way to make back the money needed to cover that is to run banners AND pop-ups. Banners alone won't cover it. As far as Tom not wanting hard core pop ups, users can decide what Flash they want to view. So if they are at school or home and want to be careful what they look at on the site, they can do that. However when a hard core porn ad POPS up, it could get them in trouble. Troma controls our pop ups and they did not give the ad company permission to run that ad. They worked hard to figure out what ad company it was coming from and disabled their ads. Troma is going to start running their ads again with their insurance the ads won't come from them, so if anyone sees them post a comment in here.
