Just because science can't explain everything and there are still mysteries doesn't mean science is wrong. It has answered many things for us and the scientific method is solid.
I respect religion and all that but if we're pitting the two against each other in which explains our world better I don't think "because God" holds up too well.

I don't think science is wrong, or learning alternatives is anti-science; but science and logic can only reach so far before it hits a brick wall and the ONLY option left is that some concious being created it ! The more I study science AND the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the more I realize how much God and science actually compliment each other !

I hope to make a topic on this later, look out for it =)

LOL i use to feel the same way until one odd night (while i was high) dipping thru Hollywood, 2 different po po's on 2 different streets flashed their bright ass spot light into me and my passenger's eyes as we were facing them at an intersection. Nothing happened (except extreme paranoia), but that was a buzz killer for sure

Response to: I don't like driving. Posted June 25th, 2012 in General

I hate driving with other people in the car, and on the road who make me nervouse, because I live in LA traffic central and tons of bad drivers EVERYWHERE who don't know how to change lanes/use turn signals properly. I only like drivin when there as few cars as possible driving beacuse that means less chances of me wrecking because of some idiota (not me) which happens damn neer everytime i get on major roads

But for you, I'd say just REMEMBER you are driving for others at all times so be CAUTIOUS of other peds/cars/ etc cuz antying can happen in a split-second, rubber necking is the leading cause of acciedents. Always wear your seat belt, speed always cauaes more damage/impact than slooowness

I was watching some really interesting vids recently, and came across even more mind blowing mysteries that don't make any scientifical sense either other than "thats the way the creator or God wanted it to be" because it can't be proven why they function the way they do; other other than thats the way it was made to be !

I might make a sepertae topic on this cuz its really something to think about

Response to: American houses Posted June 25th, 2012 in General

If houses were made to be indestuctible, then house insurance would be very unnecessary, and we need that so when we accidently burn down our homes, we can collect the insurance and relocate. You should learn more about how the economy works

Response to: The Decline of Newgrounds Posted June 24th, 2012 in General

Yes, us users are the collective conscience of Newgrounds, and we shape it daily, and make it what it is. A website is NOTHING without its user fanbase, and the people who contribute, criticize, and publicize all it's content.

Same thing with the world itself.

Response to: Should we have a Literature Forum? Posted June 24th, 2012 in General

The BBS General seems like a literature forum in some cases, but to have an official one seems unnecessary as one can make blogs and what not on their page

My 10 cents

It has to do with conditioning, just like in humans; that's why all people are not prejudice and/or racists

Obviously a rom edit. Gamefreak would get sued for that, and wouldn't do something like that.

I happen to have a bootleg Emerald version i got for 11$ from a asian man, the only problem is it wont even work because the batt was dead when I bought it

Response to: Your Perspective on EA Posted June 20th, 2012 in Video Games

I hate the direction EA moves in with some of its games like Madden (stopped playing after '06 but been a player since Madden 94') and they tote ruined Fight Night series for me after round 4 ( which was also avarage compared to Round 2 and 3) and God knows why they killed the Need For Speed series after Underground2 ( wheres 3 ?) with all those cops and car chase games which wore boring and repetitive after Most Wanted and Carbon.

The list goes on..and on.. Rockstar said it best "EA SUXX"

Response to: Your Dream Video Game Posted June 20th, 2012 in Video Games

I have several ideas for video games, 2 which have already kinda been made; but IMO I feel I could make it 100x better if only I knew how to program games.

My other idea is some kind of trippy game, like a drug simulator; that allows a user to virtually explore what reality is like on certain drugs like weed, Shrooms, LSD, etc.

I'm not sure what the goal of this game would be; but it would involve each user starting out as just being a floating brain and would have to explore each section of the brain, and only certain drugs would allow access to certain parts of the brain. I guess each level would be a new drug, and levels can be re-played with different drugs to get a whole new experience each time. I want it to be a psychological, educational, and at the same time fun experiential game.

I don't know how well this would sit with the ESRB ratings and bad influence etc., I just want to make a game for curious non-drug users, and users alike

Response to: Games you gladly gave up on Posted June 20th, 2012 in Video Games

Grand Theft IV. I tried to get into the storyline this time' round, but it was too cliche and repetitive. Drive here, drive there, kill the baddies, so and so needs to be rescued.. yada yada. It got boring REALLY fast.

I did managed to make it to rank 10 online though. I miss the old GTA days where the missions where actually creative
Response to: Why do you game? Posted June 20th, 2012 in Video Games

I love alternate realities that exist in the game world; and the idea of kill tag where none physically dies IRL. Also, I enjoy the challenge of playing with other people rather than playing against/with NPC's

Response to: College: A dying institution? Posted June 18th, 2012 in General

IMO attending college at this point in time is the best possible choice to make since everything we need to know about anything is readily availble. Not gonna lie I learned more from the internet than most of my college prof. could teach me in 2 semesters, but they did lead me in the right direction however, but the rest was up to me to figure out on my own.

Great experience though, and it does sharpen your social skills, and you can never have too many duhgreez
