I can;t be assed to read all this post, so sorry if this has already ben said. But evolution does not mean survival fo the fittest. It means the one that survives affects the future genes of the race. Not nessecarily the best one survives. Mathmaticaly, the best suited to survive, is almost defintly more likely yort die than survive, compared to all its rivals.

In other words

10 dogs, all with a equal 10% chance of survival.

Dog X has a 19% more chance of suriviing, due to its baddass lergs or somthing

Dog X has a 20% chance of surviving
Therefore it has a 80% chance of not surviving. One of its competitors will mroe likely survive.

I'm not arguing from a point of ignorance in ym mathmatics. It's just that its very hard to get a extrordinarily controversial point across, given this threads current atmosphere, and being on a forum.

I'm trying to say, that although mathmatics works for everyday things, as such it was invented for, it dosent work on the physical levals, such as quantum mechanics. It's like Einsteins relativity. General realtivity seems to work so far, on a standard level. But it dosent work on a quantum level, so he made Speacial relativity. They don't work together, so either we need to link them somhow (been tried again and again, with theories such as superstring being the current favourite, but not proven yet), or somthing is wrong. Either our physical observations are, or the actual mathmsatical system is at some point. Maybe we need a special mathmatics?

And infinity is impossible. It can only mean a number that groaws at the rate me count at, and so is alwasy jsut as high as we can count. That obviously can;t exist. And i meant numbers as physical values, not in the abstract inparticaulr. And having a negative bank balance emasn you owe them money, not that you have negative money. That's what i mean by physical, not abstract

I have to agree with him. I beleive that biexuality is natural, and universal, but in all fairness, it dosent really matter if it's natural. Plenty of unatrual thinfgs are 'right' moraly. So if we ignore the natrualness, or make a seperate thread for that debate, we can focus on whether there is any real reason why to guys or girls can't get married.

I mean to say that by beleiveing in Science, you are putting faith into the methodical system which you have been told is right, and many people blindly ignore any evidence to the contrary. If enough people with a phd say somthing kinda in line with what everyone else says, you will beleive it. Thats reliogion to me.

Wouldn't that explain the existance of infinity, which common sense shows can't exist. The existence of imaginary numbers? The fact that you get minus numbers, which physcialy dont exist, (you cant have less than no matter, just anti-matter). Science is just your religion. You place science as the ultimate good and truth, in the same way which a christian places God and Jesus.

I beleive that any religion is as likely as the next, including Science. Therefore, following the religion with the best message and image is the best option. And when peopel question your religion too much, you change it a little. Judaism became christianity, with very little change, at least before 2000 odd years of mass politics got hold of it. And still. Sermon on the Mount and Ten commandments give more or less the same outcome, and the Old Testemant is part of the Bible anyway. Kinda proof that it works. Or at least that it might need to happen again,.

I'm against marriage on the whole, as iit means that people that don't agree with ti miss out on the tax breaks etc etc. You should eb able to marry any consenting person, but you shouldnty get anything for it?

And since i think it's been brought up, I don't beleive anyone is 'gay' or 'straight'. I've found that in my life, anyone can enjoy having sex with guys ro girls, if they let themselves. So everyone is Bisexual in my opinion, and they are jsut kidding their selves if they deny it.

I also don't beleive in age limits on sex or such things, although i understand if you disagree with me around this point. I think if any two (or more) people want to have sex, they should be allowed to. Unless there is a very very good reason not to. (Common sense should be applied tot his point)

On another controversial point, i think that polygamy, and the whole free love ideal is right, and avoids a lot of conflict, and is more fun for everyone.

So yeah, im against marriage, but if some people can do it, why not others?

Dude;s, i only read the first page. But im getting a vibe off of it. I take drugs on a regular basis, sometimes pretty hard ones. I can safetly say that I'm not a scumbag. I don't steal, attack people etc. I know perfectly drug free people that do these things. And banning drugs just puts the price up, so thsi 'drug realted crime' bullshit si because of the ilegality. I've done some stupid thinfs whilst high, but thats nothing compared to what alcohol can do. I'm also a lot heathier than most people, contrary to popular beleif, drugs don't kill you if your not an idiot about them. If you legalized them, maybe we could give peopel lessons on how to take them properly, give them free ongs and needles to encourage better ways of taking them. We could do more actual, un biased study into their effects and so on. And, if you want to regulate control and putiry, why not have the drug industry run by the goverment. They can get rid of enforcement charges, and make some decent money off selling the drugs, whilst monitering amounts sold, and keeping the drugs safer. You would still get idiots doing stupid things, or ODing, but thats their choice, and you can drink yourself into a simlar state pretty easily anyway

Guys, i don't have time to read all the posts, but i will somtime soon. My veiws as an anarchist are that of individulism. Ever heard of natural law? People won;t murder each other without reason, and the cases where murder does happen, I for one and im sure others wouldnt let it and would punish others, kinda like a loose form of the western sherifss possee thing. And it can be rules without ruler, although im not to sure about that way. And if you want my opinion, by eradicating the courts, crime levels would plummet, simply because there arnt as many laws to break.

How about an anarchy? I mean, if you beleive what we're being told, its total anarchy over there anyway. So why dont we leave and let it be anarchy with less people shooting?

Dude, commn sense shows us that all this war and death etc is caused by centralized goverment. Without the goverment, where is the motivation for anyone to fight? I mean yeah there would be violence, but only with people that absolutely beleived in a cause.
