Were American users allowed to come?

So, Newgrounds. it would seem that Nintendo has generated some buzz in the gaming world with their franchise reboot of Punchout. Here's what we know about the game:

-The team behind the Mario Strikers games are developing it
- The theme music from the original game will be revamped and returned in the game
- King Hippo, Von Kaiser, and Glass Joe will all be returning
- The game plays very similarly to the original game on the Nintendo.

Press on the game has been scarce, but some screenshots have been found on the internet and there is an official trailer.

Before anyone complains, I did searchbar this before creating it. IF this has already been made, please link me.

Hey Newgrounds, Have any of you registered your Wii, DS, and downloaded games fro Nintendo's new to America "Club Nintendo"? It's the replacement for "My Nintendo" and by registering the games you can earn "coins" which can be spent on all sorts of swag like a Wii holder or a DS collection of Game & Watch games. It's actually a pretty neat little system and I was wondering what you guys had to say about it.

yeah, that's the game that's really interesting to me. Is it worth 5 bucks?

I think so and from what I've seen, it's on it's way to becoming one.

I know at my high school, we have a chess "team" and it's treated like a sport and not a club. Even though it only has like 4 members and it's budget is piss poor, they still have a representative in our school's "sport's council" and they're included in our pep rallies. So, I think more and more people are starting to treat it as a sport.

But with that being said, I still think that timers would have to be implemented to keep the games exciting and there would have to be certain regulations.

Does anybody here use their Ipods for gaming? I've seen that Square Enix has Song Summoner and Hudson has a bomberman game, but I'm wondering if anyone actually plays those games.

I got Midway Arcade treasures 2 for ten bucks at a used game store. It's a pretty good deal considering I got both Mortal Kombats, Primal Rage, Gaunlet 2, and Hard Drivin' (Best Worst game ever!)

I don't know if any of you have heard the news, but it would seem that1-Up1-Up.comhas been bought by UGO. What this means is that a bunch of employees like Shane Bettenhausen have been fired and the classic gaming magazine has been effectively killed. Does anyone have anything to say about this?

I expect there will a large amount of Hadouken jokes and sex scenes with Cammy.

A fun pinball game with good physics, a cool setting, and some of the best videogame music ever? Sign me up! 10 out of 10!

I think it's a solid FPS, but it's not quite as good as four. I think that's about everyone's thoughts on it though....

And sorry to go with the crowd, but the series is kinda dead. I mean what was the last Good Sonic game? Unleased? Was that "good" in general or "good" for a Sonic game?

2009 will be the year PS3 picks up steam or begins to die. It really all depends on how games like God of War 3 do. So far though, it looks like the 360 is ready to deliver the fatal blows to it.
