My name was under every "Last Post" box on the first page of this board. It was awesome and you can check my post history to verify it. The system told me several times to slow down.
Brilliant. You should have taken a screen shot as you're trophy piece.
SO, does anyone know why the Network News board has been completely abandoned? How come no one posts on it anymore? Is it all user page stuff now, or something else? Will it ever make a comeback or are we waiting for it to just be destroyed?

I filled the entire board with the latest posts this morning at like five. It was miraculous.
Nope, I missed it. How many threads are we talking here? Would have been pretty cool if you had the entire first page flooded with your name.

I strongly reccommend that you try and find it some way or another, be it Virtual Console, pawn shops, whatever.
Word to the wise: THIS GAME IS HARD AS BALLS. The first level is pretty difficult, and if you get it on the VC, the code system is completely neutered.
If you want to be entertained I'd suggest Dawn of Souls for the GBA. You get FFI and FFII in vastly modernized packages and you can probably find it for under ten bucks. If you want the full NES experience then go for it. Just be aware that the pacing is going to be much slower than you're used to if you've never played an NES RPG before.
So, does Dawn of Soulds add or radically change the gameplay of the first Final Fantasy?
