Lets be honest you blame Russia because you have be propagandized to hate Russia as part of your National brainwashing from the Media and Government.

Although you probably didn't post that in defense of my post I still thank you.

Assuming you are using Russia to describe "political Russia" I believe you are wrong on your assumption. A political system can not meld people into thinking a certain way only that one person can make that decision. In the United State's government they stress the ideas of freedom and equality. But the American people believe the complete opposite, that they are being oppressed. I for one lived in the Soviet Union and I will be the first one to tell you that I love the new Russia. I have food on the table, there is a good school for my child, I have a nice house, and a nice car, and I live for the most part an enjoyable life. Most of which were unavailable during the Soviet Union unless you were very powerful. Nowadays all I have to fear is someone on the street yelling "Hey Fag!" I'm not getting hung, or murdered for being gay like other countries due. So I have to say the new Russia is better than the old. Although I do respect your opinion and I hope you respect mine for we are all human beings.

I for one am "gay" and I have lived in Russia for majority of my life and not once have I been beaten, chased, or ridiculed publicly for it. People in Russia are very deeply set in there cultural heritage and I'm very proud of mine. I escaped subjection by not flaunting my sexuality because I knew it was a sore subject in my country and I did not blame anyone for it. Do I think its wrong that these men were beaten on camera? Yes I do, but I don't blame Russia as a whole for it I blame the people that beat the men and filmed it they are the real monsters.
