what are your computer specs? what version of firefox are you running? what operating system are you on? have you tried reinstalling?

well if you need a serial, just use the OEM license on the side of your pc. there should be a sticker.

after installing XP home edition again, just put in the OEM's license key. thats what i do everytime i need to format my PC..
