You might have to figure out more details if this isn't the game.

yup, that's the one, really found it a few minutes after posting this.
Here's what I had to do: I searched for space and trading, entered a randon game which luckily had the keyword "trading" under it and than under THAT I one of the games on the list was Taipan... now isn't that silly? Why not just make a Keyword search oh WHY?!

Searching for lost games... Posted August 31st, 2013 in Where is / How to?

So I've been unsuccessfully searching for an older game I played on Newgrounds a few years back.
This game was more-or-less turn based were you'd fly from destination to destination in space trading goods and upgrading your vessel.
Why'll I would LOVE some help in finding this game I've also noted that this isn't the first time I find myself searching for older content through the newgrounds server with no real idea on how to find it. I've been on Newgrounds quite a few years now so sometimes some game I ran across a few years back pops into my and I have this sudden urge to play it.
One of the most frustrating elements in searching for older content is that the portal categories aren't divided by game genre. so if I'm looking for a game and the only thing I remember about it is "space" no such genre exists, also there is absolutely no way to search for keywords on the regular Newgrounds search and there doesn't SEEM to be a way to enter an advanced search.. This makes it quite frustrating finding newer games too. not much more to say.. Newgrounds, maybe it's time to start upgrading your search algorithms and general usability. Also If anyone has any tips on how to find this game, give me a heads up. Thanks

Just so I'll be clear about this, perhaps I'm a bit dense, but is that a 'YES' in using Audio under Ad overlapping such as 'MochiAds'?

After checking out the help pages and FAQ's, I am still left to wonder.
How exactly are you allowed to use user submitted content?
I was wondering since I've been looking for a musical track for a friend of mines flash game, and was wondering how exactly this works with the audio portal.
When a submission is posted as "Noncommercial" can you still use it in a game featuring 'MochiAds' or some such ad overlapping? And if not, what is the correct way to go with this? Are the musicians usually offered percenteges for use of their work in such a way? Frankly, that would seem kinda funny if all they'd contribute would be one track...

Somewhat off topic... I did not see any post, page or FAQ actually relating to user content rights, once the content has been submitted into Newgrounds.
Unless I have missed such a thing, it seeme this is something that should show up pretty much straight a way in such a site. For legal purposes or otherwise.

If I am mistaken, and such a document or text exist I would appreciate if anyone could link me to it.

Thanks a bunch!

Ok I'll repeat some of the information for everyones benefit and in case I wasn't clear enough:

I've created a Pen & Paper RPG world for a campaign I'm going to start with my RP group. As I said the game, in a nutshell revolves around the battles between Hell and Heaven, though not as simple as that. Don't want to bore you to early with too many facts.
The world has grown beyond the boundaries I believed it would stay in. I've come to think that perhaps there is more to my creation than I thought of at first and would be interested in a collab with an animator and/or artist.
My main interests lie right now in different character designing (also for my own benefit as to "see" the world better in my own eyes) and animating "scenes" out of the existence I created. Perhaps even animating the introductory history I wrote for the world which revolves around biblical ides, though somewhat different than the original :)
I haven't yet written a script or in depth version of the story but it'll defenitly become a priority if I find an animator interested in this project.
If the project goes very far, maybe creating an actual "game"...but that's pretty much dreaming for now.
Basically any kind of animating/drawing help would be most appreciated.

I want a collab very much becuase I know how inspirational such a thing can be.
By working with other people on this project the world can become so much more with varied thinking and ideas. I believe it's always better to create something with different people. More than one mind creating something, I believe will always create a clearer picture.

For some time now I've been working on a Pen & Paper freeform Role Playing world.
The world is set in futuristic times (date is irrelevent) and revolves around fights between Hell and Heaven deities. That's only a quick sum up of the idea, which is much more wide spread.
I'm aware that the idea is not the most original, but that's partially the idea.
The creation was influenced by many different cultures but mostly by the jewish kabbalah and the book of Enoch 1.
I'm looking for a talanted animator and /or artist to help me expand the world beyond it's textual boundaries.
I would like the animations/drawings to have a realistic or perhaps anime style to them so my standards are pretty high, though I'd accept any kind of help greatfully.
Lots more information will be shared of course.
If by any chance anyone's interested in working with me on this project I'd be greatful, and you're, of course, welcome to contact me via PM.
Any help appreciated.

Review abusing? Posted July 30th, 2006 in Where is / How to?

This review seemed fishy to me. Two identicle reviews like this were made in the story of Khale trailer one by cheech010 and another by cheech009.
Sorry if this is the wrong place to post such a thing new to forums bla bla....
