Nevermind the fact that no one really gives a shit about the lyrics or that they have nothing to do with making a song good or bad, you just HAVE to concentrate on how dumb all the lyrics are and how your bands are so much better at writing lyrics.
2-Learn to play an instrument!
Like every original teenager before you, it is your duty to expand your cultural horizon by learning something new, and what better way than making your parents buy you an electric guitar or a drum set instead of paying your college education! Surely your arguments will hold a lot more water once you are able to play "stairway to heaven", like the little cookie-cutter copycat that you are.
3-Google music terms!
Nothing instills fear in other people like technical lingo! Hence, use google as your fist of fury and drown them in a vague bullshit fest of how the music they listen too doesn't include "harmonic dissonence" and "triple power assonance", and don't forget: you can make another pass at the lyrics! Name all the kinds of rhymes there are, and then fail to find them in the songs you criticise, as NO ONE GIVES A SHIT.
4-Pretend you really were dumb enough to listen to all the songs from that album you hate so much
Nothing says "informed" and "retarded" like a person who will listen five times to the latest SOAD album just to make sure they really hate it and to prove everyone else that they were right, nevermind the fact that they listened to the band more than anyone they are arguing against! Way to go champ!
5-Everything is fair game
So what, the music is good? Do YOU listen to bands because of the music? Or would you rather talk about the CD cover art and all the stupid rumors your heard about the artists! Spend a lot of time talking about the drummer's personnal life, it really matters a whole lot! Be sure to mention those drug addictions, bastard children and mental problems! Don't stoop so low as to not insult the relatives of the artists! Be sure to drive home the point that the people who make the music REALLY ARE ASSHOLES! Its very important!

there is a screen capture option in VLC, which I tried about, oh, an hour ago and nothing worked. I took a capture, nothing appeared in the specified folder.
And now, LO AND BEHOLD, I try again without changing anything, and POOF, magicaly a file appears in the folder.

In 2003, I could take screen grabs from ANYTHING just using a simple button. Easy and fast, no bullshit.
After that, I had to figure out what options to disable from certain video players to be able to use the grabber again.
And NOW I have to re-figure it because they changed it those smelly bastards. God dammit this is annoying.
