It was a cold November night, and Charles was riding down to his grandmas house to bring her the weekly medicine she has to take. He's so used to the path he barely pays attention as he's cruises down the usually empty road at 80mph. He hears a knock on his drivers side window and as he turns to see what it is, an evil looking spirit is rawring right outside the window. Frightened, he takes a sharp right, but forgets that the road is on the side of a cliff and runs into the rail, and flips over tumbling down to the forest below. When he awakes, his is surprisingly uninjured but stuck in a forest he has never been in. Unknown creatures making sounds he's never heard before start to spook him. He has to get out of there and even worse if he takes longer than a week his grandma will die from not taking her medicine. Determined to save his life and hers, he trots into forests unknown. BEGIN GAME. lol

Response to: AS2, Programmer wanted- Posted April 8th, 2009 in Game Development

you should do all the art yourself instead of using tom's profile pic you can make a real game out of it and got it sponsered. then you'll be doing hw and gettin money. all in one. and isn't that the greatest thing of all

One of the most well known walk cycles ever, idiot. You stole it.

I only just discovered this thread, I see that time is up but I would like to have a go. If you can spare some time and/or you haven't found anyone you want to work with yet, let me know and I will take a shot.

hahahah @ keano. anyways if he hasn't found anybody yet, you are so getting competition for this happysheep. ohh and i watched your "i like it like that" and i think you should do more with that monster muffin thats close to the beginning, its pretty cool. j.m.o

i'm confused to what you're actually asking for...do you need an artist or a programmer...or another artist..or an animator...or a dentist...or a hobo...or an artist?

Man, i've always loved your art. If you still can't find a sponsor, you should register on Flashgamelicense.com
they take 10% of your sponsorship earnings, but you'll definitely find a sponsor on there.

You don't need to have a programmer work for free. If this thread doesn't get you any interests make a new thread stating that you're searching for a programmer (provide a link to your artwork) and that you'll split the profits 50/50. Good luck.

A way to make this better would be actual physics or whatever. Like you continue to slide a little after you stop. Also putting a time limit and keeping the number of shells to a low number would be a good idea. Instead of putting a lot of kuppas in easy places around the level, place maybe 3 or 4 kuppas but make them tricky to get to.

I think you should draw more of those detailed characters with the white outlines and put them over real life pictures. i think it would be pretty cool. (kind of like what you did for the first one.)
