As for the 'art' i think i remember it from somewhere , mediocre art with some tweens , hopefully the ones for the real game will be better.

I think the coder should get 60% at least. also why dont you search the bbs for artist wanted or something
there are hundreds of these threads, once i saw two threads right next to each other that were so vague:

'Looking for an artist to code for'
'Programmer wanted for flash team'
I think thats bs. What makes you think that the coder deserves 60%. This guy is most likely writing the story, doing the art, game design, and going to be looking for sponsors, and im tired of everytime some random guy says he can do better then the posters work. I think the art looks pretty good. Regardless if its a tween or not. What do you want the game coded in? AS2 or AS3, and what type of engine are you going for? Is there anything you can say about the game.

thanks, i don't want to say too much on the forum but i'm thinking as3 would be best. the game will play in waves/days, and after each day you can decide to do something, such as train, spend time with the family, build torrents, look for weapons. and the fighting is all AI, you just place torrents and watch the battle unfold.

why would the programmer get 60%. 50/50 would be fine since we're both doing half of the game. and thats the art being used for the game. If you think you could do better by all means i suggest you make your game and blow mine out the water.

anyways.....to all the coders i'm still looking

Because most of the time its just a formality and people prefer to skip it and talk straight by messenger which is much easier and faster and attachments can be sent

I frequently use Gmail chat and MSN chat to discuss with people

which could also be sent in a pm. which could contain a link to a swf so i could see an example. i see your point, but if the topic starter asks for a pm, i would think that anybody that would respond would just respond with a pm....i guess i'm just oldfashioned like that

you should include all the bombs, trampolines, spikes, blahblah etc, etc. you'll probably get more interest..or you could just find a coder to do the game with. you'll make more money that way anyways

If your still interested in a coder I could be available in the near future to help you out.

I code in As2 if thats a problem or not I dont know and I use flash mx and possibly flash 8 if I can find my old hard drive etc etc...

If you look on my profile theres a few examples of things I have coded, kinda basic I realise, but currently I am working on a bigger project for college work which is much more advanced.

Just lemme know if you're interested in accepting me.

Thanks for your interest but I've found a coder. Maybe sometime in the future though. Good luck with your college project.

also at claximillion, you don't really seem experienced enough yet. keep improving though.

and to dumbguy, do you have flash?

Maybe, also we're looking for a coder as well. I'm just trying to put together a reliable team of people that can work together to make games and some cash. Still Lookingg
You said no to me. I'm both an artist and a coder. I use AS3.
I don't want to join the "Ponz Studio" team, but I will consider allowing you to join my own team, which has been in need of members for far too long.

its hard to tell exactly over the internet, but you sound really egotistical....anyways yea, the examples you showed weren't really up to par. ALSO (this is for everyone thats why its in CAPS) The name of the team IS NOT Ponz Studios, thats just the name i use for myself. Once we get the team assembled we can come with one. i was thinking something like Super Charged Monkeys For World Dominance....or something like that lol. anyways I'm still looking for an artist specializing in backgrounds and reliable coders.

Looking forward to hearing from you=]

Hey everybody, just a little bump.

Just so you know we're still looking for another animator, you have to be good at backgrounds, being good at characters is a plus.

When I find time to work on it, the main GetLives site will look a lot better. Right now, it's pretty bare. Instead, just view my work site at http://work.getlives.com

Thanks for showing interested, you can go to my profile to see my completed games. The examples that i've seen aren't really what i'm looking for. If you can provide recent character animations we could talk some more.

I require at least 2periods of 2hours weekly, in which we must all be connected at the same time.

You can check my gallery over at www.sid1120.deviantart.com, although it's rather outdated.

I looked at your deviantart and i couldn't really find any animations. you could post some examples here or send them to me in a pm.

Looking for a team to make games Posted September 24th, 2009 in Game Development

Ok, well i've seen these threads before and never really payed any attention to them....but...
PAY ATTENTION....ahem...ok. well i'd like to start up a team of 3 people to start making games. We'll get the games sponsored and the split the money evenly. We'll discuss the different games we'll make once the team is assembled.

ok..so I'm an animator, you can look at my profile for past work though its all pretty outdated. i'll list some more recent things here

ZIGZAG
You'll have to right-click and press next, there are 6 frames. the last one contains all the characters. you won't see the animations though cuz they're all in idle.
http://spamtheweb.com/ul/upload/240909/5 2960_Space_Wars.php

Sleepy Town
Just some character animations.
http://spamtheweb.com/ul/upload/240909/5 3335_Sleepy_Town.php

Space Dodger
You'll have to right-click and press stop, then browse through the frames clicking next.

I'm looking for 1 more animator and 1 coder to team up with so we can make so cool ass games and make some money. If you're interested send me a pm showing examples of what you can do. I'm looking forward to hearing from you.
