So is it just me, or does Bob Dylan never sing the same way twice? I mean, it all has the same slightly nasal sound to it, but it's like a whole different voice every time.
Also hey, Streaky. Welcome back.
And it just occurred to me that there still isn't a post preview function. Egad!

Ostensibly, the new forum contains bugs, which is to be expected. The next few days ought to be at least moderately interesting.
Also very lol.
Oh look, a redesign.
Penis.

Assuming the new plague of flying pigs doesn't get out of hand.

As long as this thread is only a shadow of its former glory, here goes my pillaging of its last shred of decency:

He's not dead. He's just regressing to the chat, because the chat isn't full of hapless shitmongers. Feel free to swing by, considering you don't seem to be one of them.

No big loss, the guy sounds like a fag anyways.
Waste of a good beard, though.
The general population of this board displeases me, so allow me to iterate something I feel is important, and needs be said:
SevenSeize, I know you won't take any of the jealousy and stupidity of most of these posters seriously, but those whom know you, admire you. I hope you don't feel insulted or disillusioned with the ignorance and thoughtlessness of so many, and can retain your cheerful and contagiously happy demeanor, despite some of the comments made in this thread. I hope what they've said doesn't change how you've thought you had to preform on this board as a moderator. Most of all, I hope you enjoy your modship. :)
In going through this thread, I'm disgusted at you people. I've held my tongue, knowing mods will delete the most pig-headed comments, but at a point, I also feel I should post my opinion. Some of you people need to grow the fuck up. Crying about how badly you want modship isn't making you look better for the position, and everybody who knows it matters.
I'd continue on and make this a rant, but I know the vast majority of you twits don't so much as read one post past the first before posting your own repetitive, meaningless bullshit, so it would just be a waste of my time.
And just as a sidenote, if someone on the mod team chooses to delete the most rotten posts in this thread, feel free to take this one with it. I know posting something criticizing others is the mods' domain, but I can't help myself. SevenSeize deserves proof that there are people on her side.

She's a poli reg, like she's already said, and she's also a school teacher, which makes her perfect for modship. For that matter, I'm 100% sure that anybody who knows her would agree she'll make a fantastic mod. This is a good day for the forum.
I've already said it once in the lounge, but congratulations again, Seven.
Oh wow, congratulations, Seven. :D
I hope you stay just how you are now, and you don't starting acting differently around Wade, or something, like some mods do. :)

What are your future plans?
Get a job this summer, go on to uni in the fall. I really wish I didn't have to work to help pay for my shit. :(
I just wrote my last final, ie calc, and I think I did perfectly on it, so I might end with a 99%. :D
Also, I'm now done high school.

So it looks as though my birthday NG email isn't getting sent this year, either. That is, assuming it's supposed to be sent as soon as the day rolls over. Meh.
Also, happy birthday, Zeke/Redskunk.

A Jew-burnin' grammar Nazi.

Happy birthday, dude!
So here's something I'm wondering about:
I've been told that to qualify for student loans, I can't live with my parents at home. There were some other distance rules, too (like if a parent lives within 25 km of the uni). Can anyone either dispute or confirm this in their own experience? I realize it's different for different areas, but I want to get some idea if banks actually employ idiotic standards like that.
At 6/3/07 08:21 PM, Proteas wrote: But yeah, pressurized cans. I think they had like two connectors on top; an one for a seperate CO2 can we had, one for the stuff to coke itself to come out. There might have been three, I don't know... it's been a while.
Oh, I'd thought you meant pre-carbonized cans.
That doesn't sound like a good system, though. With the syrup containers, they weighed about 10-15 pounds and would just screw into the whole system. Normal water and some CO2 canisters they must have had elsewhere did all the rest of the work.
'twould suck to use the cans.

You do have to admire their affinity for chemistry, though. It must have taken some brilliance to figure out how to supersaturate it with that much sugar. Christ...
At 6/3/07 07:46 PM, Proteas wrote: Hmm... it seems like the deli I used to work at did have it pre-mixed in these huge pressured cans such that I had problems lifting, but still... I think that was just the same as what you could go get off of the shelf. Didn't really taste any different.
Wow. Pressurized cans? What would happen if you dropped one? Maybe I'm just picturing this wrong.
