Our HQ is located at the most southern part of Antarctic. You will see a tall building with watch towers at every corner with turrets and sniper rifles, made entirely out of metal and painted gun metal black. You can't miss it. Go up to the gate and play the fastest passage you can. If you play it with perfect technique, 300bpm+ and to scale; the gates will open and THEN you will see a book where you can sign your name.

*jackson dx10d (blue) with some seymour duncan invader humbuckers

I love Jacksons and SM pickups; In fact I have one myself and a nice triple set of them on my main but.. why did you install such beautiful Seymours on a Jackson that probably costs less than the pickups? I personally would invest in a DK2 or a 370DX because tone might be important but in my eyes I see the feel of the guitar surpass it in priority... or maybe I'm wrong and the DX10D is satisfactory for you..

almost two years

Welcome' welcome.

That requires engineering and effort, silly. This is the human race we are talking about here.

From what I heard; the frequency output from a bass is so low that the guitar amp wouldn't be able to handle it and instantly fry or the speaker itself would break. Can someone confirm this? I don't want to give out necessarily false information to anyone.

You are... aware that the series goes up to the several thousand dollar mark? And that more than half of the greatest guitarists in the world use one; such as Paul Gilbert and countless others. It's possible that you could of gotten a bad one that was one in a million.

I bought a Les Paul Standard as a replacement. I'm very pleased. (:

I played it at a guitar shop four years ago. My memory of it isn't the best of course but it felt pretty solid in my hands though the pickups aren't the best on neither guitar.

I've never played a guitar with a locking nut before, and I bet it's a bitch to change strings. I think I'm going to buy this one though. I liked the other one because it was blue.

A locking-nut is going to become your best friend as soon as you try it out. How often do you even change strings? once every three months? I got my time down to 25 minutes, it's not hard at all and the tuning will never raise or drop; you can throw the guitar around and constantly keeping putting and taking it out of a guitar case without a second frequency drop on any of the strings. And don't get me started on how critical is it own when you got a whammy on the guitar; then the strings will go out of tune if you don't have a locking-nut. Here's a breakdown to how to change the strings.

Inside (Thread) joke. We all mainly play on electrics and half of us (use to?) are highly keen on playing difficult pieces and of course that mainly involves single-picking and so the joke lies within the idea that our we're not knowledgeable of anything beyond single-picking. That's a rough break-down behind what just happened 900 pixels above this post.

Other news.

I can't seem to finish GT5P. The C and B licences were easy as shit to complete but half of the tracks in licence A as fucking hard. Doesn't matter what car I bring-in and how much I perfect every turn, I still end up in either 5th or 12th place.

Also, is there anything amazing that happens if you get all the licences? Because if there isn't, I'm just going to keeping doing that circle track for 35K till I hit a million and buy myself a Ferrari Formula1. :3

I'll join.

I'm currently triple-booting between Windows7 B7600 64x, OSX Snow Leopard 64x and Linux Ubuntu 9.06 64x.

My main rig is as follows:
CPU - Intel Core i7 920 Nehalem 2.66GHz [OC 4.2GHz]
MB - EVGA X57 SLI LE LGA1366
RAM - Corsair Dominator 6GB (3 x 2GB) 1866MHz DDR3 [OC 2166MHz]
GPU - EVGA GeForce 9800 GTX+ 512MB [Don't game anymore, PS3 for that]
PSU - Rocketfish 700-Watt
HDD - WD CaviarBlack 1TB x2 [Raid-0], WD Caviar Green 1TB x1.
CSE - Antec Twelve Hundred
HS - Xigmatek THOR'S HAMMER
FAN - Scythe 3000RPM "ULTRA KAZE" x2
ROM - Samsung SH-S223B
Monitor - Samsung SyncMaster 2443BW 24" 1920x1200

And on my Vaio FW; I'm running Windows7 B7600 64x and Linux Ubuntu 9.05 64x.

If anyone calls bluff on running Snow Leopard on a Core i7; you're wrong. It's just not for the fainted hearted. I mainly have it for lulz.

Runescape isn't THAT bad, is it?

Grow a pair of eyes.

You better be trollin',

I been in this thread before you even managed to stand on your own two feet.

I tried ms myself, and I found that there is so much grind from 20 to 21 and no pvp anywhere. Not to mention that in MS if you do a certain quest you get a permanent shitty haircut.

Ooow! Big man, try getting to Lv.76. Both games are crap but I would take MS over Rusescape any day if I had to pick between the two for the sake of my life.

Like what? Name 1 good memory that came from this thread and this thread alone.

Who are you to even ask such quesions.

Because MapleStory is bad and Runescape isreally really bad... and very sad. At least with MS, you have to install the game and that brings it up a notch in terms of quality but Runescape plays in a browser which puts it at the same level as a Flash game; if not lower. Also, this club has too many good memories to be locked and dispersed of.

If you like TDM & IDM, just look at my charts; specifically the last three months. just click my Sig for the link to my account.

Last.fm is just giving me solo acts from bands I already have.

I realized long ago that Last.fm has no bloody clue what one's actual music tastes are. One must scout on his or her own to find music on there; more specifically through the Similar Artists tab from a artist's page.

With that, anyone else give Dungeon Fighter Online a test drive?

How about investing a few hundred bucks and obtaining a proper console and a few games if you want to play and burn time. Unless it's air or Torrent'd, there's nothing good in this world that is free.

Couldn't resist the current NG layout ad thing, so I dl'ed it last night. So far, it's worth it. VERY worth it; I see this game getting really popular really quick.

Yeah and than it will depress you five years later as to why you ever considered DL'ing it.
