Trouble With Importing Sounds Posted December 31st, 2013 in Animation

I'm working on an animation that includes quite a bit of sound. However, I cannot seem to import any of it properly into Macromedia Flash 8.

I've looked around a little bit and have tried several things. I've tried converting the MP3s into several other sound formats, but none of them work.

The only format that seems to work is WAV, but then the sound comes out like total crap. Can anyone help me out? Thank you to any responses!

I would imagine there's no "correct" way, but instead, easier ways than others.

The whole scan a drawing and then put it into an animation sounds a little tedious (if you're going frame by frame, anyway.) If you're drawing something very intricate (and static), though, that would be an easy way of doing it (for me, anyway).

It's a safe assumption that most animators in Newgrounds just draw in their animating program.
