Hey I'd like to join...

I think my favourite post-punk band is Joy Division.
Because I like the basslines, the 16th beats, the guitar parts seem really normal, but are actually really weird, like in Transmission. And of course the lyrics.

If anyone could recommend some darker post-punk that's sort of goth but not at all death rock that would be swell. More like The Sound, and less like Sisters of Mercy.

I realize this club is dead, but I'd like to restart it.
My favorites are Joy Division, The Cure, The Sound, Christian Death, The Gun Club (I'd say it counts), and The Chameleons. Not a big fan of Industrial, or Bauhaus.
Also, does this club include Deathrock?

Get a music myspace, and whore the fuck out of yourself.
If you already have a regular myspace, delete it and socialize with your music myspace so that you get more views. Then add a bunch of Electronica record labels and try to get signed.
