Eerie Figure Haunts Scottish Castle!

(March 27) - The figure peers down silently from an upper floor of the ruins of a Scottish castle, wearing what looks like an outfit from the Middle Ages. Could this be a long-dead Scottish earl, or just a random, modern-day visitor?
The eerie image is captured in a photograph taken by tourist Christopher Aitchison in May 2008 at Tantallon Castle, which sits on a rocky outcrop along the Scottish coast, east of Edinburgh. The "person" appears to be wearing an old-style greenish ruff around the neck.

Experts on the paranormal are scratching their heads over this image, showing an odd figure apparently wearing period clothes and peering from a window in a Scottish castle. The shot was taken by a tourist in May of last year and made public Friday by scholar Richard Wiseman, who received it when he invited people from around the world to send him their photos of ghosts.

Aitchison insists he did not tamper with the image and cannot explain it.
"I was not aware of anyone, or anything, being present in my picture, only noticing the anomaly when I got home," Aitchison said. "Staff have verified that there were no sinister dummies in period costume or historical reenactments going on that day at the castle. I did not notice any nice old ladies wearing ruffs walking around the stairs!"

The picture was made public Friday by Richard Wiseman, a professor of psychology at the University of Hertfordshire who also studies the paranormal. Wiseman said he was looking for "photographic evidence for ghosts" ahead of a session on the subject at the Edinburgh International Science Festival next week.
Wiseman solicited such photos from around the world and collated them for the conference. He said the majority of images showed mysterious-looking orbs, mists, figures and faces.

They want to be as inconspicuous as possible, so you sitting there contstantly moving round with your sub machine gun is going to attract attention.

When we knife you to try and tell you to fuck off, DONT KNIFE US BACK. We aren't playing kiss chase, we want you to move away so you dont get us killed!

So please, even if you have a sniper rifle too, dont stant/crouch/lie next to us! Sniper spots are first come first get.

Amen to that! Couldn't have put it any better! Take a bow sir. People really need to work out how games work and how to play properly.

it looks to me as if it's one of those 'revolutionary' things that never takes off, I think it's going to launch, get a small amount of interest and die out. People in the business should stop trying to make things to change gaming instead they should focus on making games even better and more enjoyable.

Topic: The Racism in Resident Evil 5.

Posted: 03/23/09 08:31 PM

Forum: Video Games

I knew this would happen the moment i saw the setting for RE5. Calling this game racist and and bringing up all these little 'references' to this and that and how everything means something else is small minded and as bad as racism it's self.

If this game was racist or at least had racist undertones then it would have never passed the review boards and would have been promptly banned. Clearly the powers that be deemed it just fine for release worldwide. (Next will be claims that the review boards are in on it and it's a global conspiracy.)

My next point is how everyone seems to think that racism only exists in the context of white against black. It's not it goes either and all ways. Their are anti black groups and anti white groups, every country in the world has groups that are racist against others be it race, culture, background etc.

If Resi 5 is racist that means that hundreds of other games and movies are racist also. Is GTA4 racist because its a eastern european killing americans, Chinese, Russians? Is COD WAW racist because you can play as the german army? i could go on.

People need to except that racism exists and that's that. I in no way promote racism but it's out there and that's the truth. Games and movies are not racists they just treat everyone as equal only over zealous, small minded morons claim otherwise!

But I did hear there was a saying that everyone "sees" four ghosts a day. Do you guys believe this? I don't to be honest, but I do think ghosts are a bit more common then we might think.

I think that their are sprits or 'ghosts' all around, everywhere we go. It makes sense if you think of the unimaginable number of people that have died and take into account how many of them may not have left this world and moved on.

So if their all around us i think it's possible we do see a number of them a day we just don't fully understand it. I think our sub conscious processes seeing them but our brains don't pick up on it. Think how many times you see something out the corner of your eye? What is that 'something'?

Very possible i think.

Collect up the empty bottles from the water coolers, set them up in a long hall way and try to run across as many as possible before breaking a hip.
