OR they might want to live when they grow up. I'm the youngest of 6 kids, and instead of it being some magical wonderful experience, I view it as my parents going "Hey want to make another baby?" "Uh, yeah ok, sounds good".

Wasn't that in some awful 1990's movie? I think that there was some stuff going on in the future, so they unfroze some guy and he killed some black guy? And there was some guy with yellow dye in his hair? What was that?

OH! I remember now, it was called demolition man. Yeah, and instead of having sex they put on hats and had orgasms. It was weird.

Oh by the way, I know the drummer from job for a cowboy. There was this one kid named blaze rice who used to go to my school. I was friends with him or whatever, and then I went over to his house and I saw his brother, Jon. My friend was like, 'yeah he's in a metal band' but I never knew that it was national and big and stuff. Then he moved to Cleveland. But the thing is that I hate JFAC. I just generally hate metal. It really blows.

Yeah I wear contacts for distance. Every couple of years I'll get my eyes checked. I've had the same glasses since 5th grade though. And I'm pretty sure I've always had the same prescription for contacts too. My eyes just stay the same I guess.

I can do whatever the fuck I want. I can put the game back on the shelf, and abandon its "rules". After all, you don't follow scrabble's rules when you're not playing scrabble. So I'm not playing it anymore. It's stupid anyways.

Topic: So some guy almost shot my dog

Posted: 11/08/09 04:35 AM

Forum: General

Yeah, I was savin' this for my 5,000th post, but it took a little while to get there and now it's 4:30 AM. ANYWAYS, I have a kinda interesting story.

I was walkin' my dog yesterday, and where I live there's two streets that go into a V shape. Like, they're separate roads but there's a parking lot in between them. So I always cut across the parking lot, swing back down the other road, and go back the way I came.

So I was walkin', not really paying attention. Then I see this guy. He had to be about 90 something. He had this huge white beard, and white long hair matted down by a camo hat. His hair was in front of his eyes because of this. He had a big camo jacket on and camo pants, y'know. He was holding a bow and had a quiver of arrows on his leg. Now my dog's pretty big. He also has the same general color of a deer. That light brown color. I'm lookin' at him now, and I see he's looking right at my dog. Then I see him lift up his bow and take out an arrow. Then I'm like "wait a sec" and I see that he's pulling back the string. So I yell, y'know like "Hey hey woah man what are you doing!" He then squints at me, and then immediately lowers his bow and is like "oh sorry I thought it was a deer there". So I won't be walking that way any time soon.

If I hadn't yelled out, I might of seen my dog get killed by an arrow. And the thing is, is that this parking lot is like right next to houses. I'm sure it's only a matter of time before he kills some little kid.

My car is a piece of shit with over 200,000 miles on it, and has a hole in the trunk. It's a 1989 honda accord, and I've done so much work on it in the past few years that I should never have taken it from my uncle. The engine's always breaking down, the transmission blew out last year, I had to replace the back PANELS. You know the actual outside part of the body? And I couldn't get the right tone of paint so now I got a car that's light blue and a section of it is dark blue. The spedometer on it will go down to zero sometimes because the computer in it is breaking now. The muffler's broke now, so when I'm cruisin' around 30 it sounds like a muscle car is flying threw the neighborhood going 50, but then it's just this small piece of junk that can barely move. Tomorrow I have to work on the drum breaks some, those are going bad. The tires are getting worn out now too, so it'll drift to the right now all by itself if I'm driving straight. If there's any more a piece of junk of a car, I'd be shocked. The car you want looks like a limousine.

You talk about cliques and such? Well, I'm your average american teenager, and I don't follow any real clique. I have friends that have hair down past their shoulders and wear black clothes and such, and I also have friends that wear designer clothes. Some of my friends are gay, and others extremely homophobic. I base friendships off of personalities and how a person acts, not how a they dress. Although I do tend to talk to people that don't conform to the typical lifestyle of what's expected from teenagers these days. But that doesn't mean I don't give other people a chance. If someone's acting like a complete douche in class, I'm not really going to try and talk to them. But that's just human nature really. First impressions of the person's personality is what you should base your friendships off of, not the appearance of that person.

Hahahaha. Was it a case of the munchies or did you just plain forget?

Speaking of the munchies, one time I got really stoned and I ate two whole boxes of those famous amos cookies, then a whole box of pop-tarts (the ones that have like 12 in them). And THEN I ate a bag of trail-mix. Later we walked down to McDonald's and (I'm told) I tried to order "everything that you've ever had or will ever have". Then I think I got kicked out of the store. I didn't even use any febreeze, axe, or anything. And my eyes were probably as red as a rose.

Try watching a movie that night. Not the first time you smoke, because whether it's chemical or you're not inhaling properly, you probably won't get high. A little buzz maybe, but that's about it. But anyways the first time that you actually do get high, try any movie. It can be the worst movie out there, but if you're stoned it will seem like the best thing you've ever seen. But it varies from person to person, the effects that is. Some people just sit there, and not say a thing, and others (like myself) slam their heads into things and fall over, and just get real fucked up. I swear, almost every time that I've gotten high throughout the past 3 years, I always hurt myself. It's just unavoidable. But it's all right. Either I don't remember and find cuts and bruises on myself when I wake up, or I remember laughing my ass off about it. I always forget what happens when I'm high. :\

My favorites are Edgar Allan Poe and Richard Connell, but I'll pick up anything.

Have you ever read this? It's one of my favorite short stories. I can't even remember how I found it, but I've always liked the old man's dialogue, the way that it tells about his routine, how he talks to himself, and the fact that when he finds his friend of his dead he just laughs it off and finds it humorous. Like, "Hahaha I knew you would die".

Also, I perfer novels over short stories by a long shot. Novels (especially ones that are in a huge series of like 6 or 7 books) give a feeling of awe after you finish. I read all the harry potter books over the summer, and I still go over things that happened in the books, why they happened, etc. It almost feels like you've accomplished something. :\

I love the DragonLance series. Raistlin was my favorite characture in the series.

Woah age of reason? I've been meaning to read that for a while now. Not because I'm some bible-hating anti-jesus kinda guy but mostly because I never really understood organized religion and things such as the pope, or how you must follow all these rules and regulations. The way I see it is that we shouldn't worry about everything like that, and just love life rather than analyze it. Let god do his thing if he's out there, and if not; then oh well. It doesn't make a difference anyways. But that's getting off-topic and into the classic argument about whether god exists, so back to age of reason. I've really been wanting to read that. I can see that it agrees with my views of questioning such things as organized religion and the hierarchy that's involved where it's like the average joe is at the bottom and cardinals and the pope are at the top, right? I mean I might be completely wrong, but I know that it questions the authority of organized religion. How long is it anyways? I don't know if I want to stop what I'm reading now to read something that's a thousand pages long.

Also, dragonlance? I'm not sure if I've ever heard of it. It sounds REALLY familiar, but I can't place my finger on it. I know that it's in the fantasy genre, but that's about it.

Awesome. It's great to see a member so soon. And I find Pratchett's work a very nice read. Very humorous. I've read (I think) the first seven or eight books of the Discworld series. I guess I should go down to the local library again soon to start reading some of it since I'm reading LoTR right now. It'll be a nice combo. Yeah, they're really good. I just finished Reaper Man a few weeks ago.

I can't really remember which book in the series that is. :\ I know that he wrote like 40 or something though. Now that's real dedication to something.

On an unrelated subject, were reading The Lord of the Flies in class.
The book is pretty deep, with some of the points it tries to make, but I also think there's a lot of pessimism in there.

I haven't read lord of the flies yet. I've heard good things about it though. I'm pretty sure that we're going to read it in the spring in English

I'm actually reading some Far Side (Gary Larson comic, you've probably at least heard of it.) right now. This is some funny stuff.

Ah that's by far my favorite comic. I don't really ever read comic books but the far side is something you can sit down and read cover to cover.

Here's one of my favorites
