I never understood the exact reason the friends system was implemented. It doesn't actually do anything besides give you some minor validation that someone knows you exist on Newgrounds, but I suppose that's reason enough for some people.

As cliche as it is, it's the thought that counts. I was just expecting to draw on a piece of paper, mail it in and get a different piece of paper. I would've been fine with that, but now I feel like a dickass because I didn't devote enough time to make a well-thought out and masterfully crafted Christmas clusterfuck.
