I'm curious though didnt this person audition first? You got to hear the voice BEFORE you paid him?! I would hope so.... otherwise as cold as it may sound that was your own fault then if you just took his word for it then paid him. Lesson learned though hopefully.

There are alot of talented people here that like Crick said, would be more then willing to help just for the fun of it. I would myself but am female and could not pull that off. Crick is also right about the editing.

Like he said you are better off finding a new actor.

I hope you have learned a lesson here though, I am sorry you are out $50 I had a similar issues trying to get my birth certificate for my passport, never got the certificate and cant get a refund so yeah i know your pain -hug-

I did have the guy give me a few lines and I thought they sounded pretty good. My mistake was when I had some stock lines from the game that came right after his. I'm doing everything I can to distract people from the difference in voices like a little pause and some interruption dialogue from other characters and such but I'll start fishing around a bit for a new actor.

Impersonator Perfecting. Help Posted October 25th, 2014 in Audio

I've got a video in the works about TF2 and I had an impersonator give me some lines for the Soldier. Honestly, they're inaccurate and I was wondering if anyone could possibly take the lines and apply some audio effects to them to make them more accurate. I tried my hand at it but it ends up having weird unwanted effects. So if you're familiar with the Soldier's voice and think you could audibly correct this impersonation, email me and I'll email the lines. I paid a good $50 for them (Frankly I was ripped off) and I don't want it to go to waste

Flash AS2 platform game death anim Posted August 2nd, 2013 in Game Development

I'm making a platform game and I need a code that stops the codes for the character (so you cant move him) plays a death animation, waits a couple seconds and then starts the scene over. I have been trying to get with for about 3 hours now with no luck. Any help would be great!
