Got any proof of that? Last I heard the gay gene was speculative at best. Here is some tangible evidence that says it IS a choice (which is what I choose to believe at the moment).
I refuse to believe that being gay is a choice. You couldn't suddenly make yourself physically, emotionally and sexually attracted to members of the same gender for no reason whatsoever (or the other way). There's no reason for changing your orientation to gay--who the hell would choose to gay and put up with all the discrimination, people in the streets looking at them like insects and being beaten up.

As fli pointed out at the top of the page, there is no CONCLUSIVE evidence either way, but you shouldn't state so matter of factly that they are born with it as, at the moment, there is a lot more tangible evidence to support that it is a choice, and it is highly likely that the notion of "I'm born with it" is more of a political means with which to try and build tolerance. Don't get me wrong, I don't HATE anyone, I am just interested in finding the truth.
I actually can't believe you believe that there's more evidence of being gay as a choice than there is of being born with it. That's just plain stupid.
