Mine are slightly bigger, due to cookies and cheese burgers.

yep its been pretty much a diet of pedialyte, chicken broth, and a some pepto. All to be undone 15 minutes later. At least its not as bad as the time I had food poisoning. That was even worse.

I once got food poisoning like 2 days before thanksgiving. I ended up so dehydrated that I couldn't even walk more than a couple of feet without feeling dizzy and almost fainting.

Response to: Reinventing Zelda Posted December 18th, 2012 in Video Games

Sure, there may have been some missteps along the way, but I don't think the series needs re-inventing. It really hasn't gotten stale or anything. Sure there are a lot of similarities in how the game works, but there's always a hugely different feel from game to game. And they always bring something new to the series. If they went much farther with changing it, it wouldn't really be "Zelda" anymore.

Response to: Horde or Alliance? Posted December 18th, 2012 in Video Games

I used to play alliance. Not because I particularly cared anything about them, I just thought that dwarfs were cool. I was more about RP back then, so I had come up with a persona for my character and everything. Never did play any endgame stuff with him. I got to level 80 right before cat. came out then got him to 85 shortly after that, then never played again. Honestly, it was partly because they added the ability to use flying mounts in the old areas. It totally ruined exploring those areas, or rather it ruined the scale of the areas.

Response to: is Mario dying? Posted December 18th, 2012 in Video Games

Yeah, pretty much. I mean, from what I've seen, Mario Galaxy was pretty good, but everything since then, and everything for the hand helds has been just rehashing the popular ones from way back. I mean, I'm not exactly sure I could make a better Mario game myself, but it just doesn't even seem like they're trying to do anything interesting.

Basically.
Based upon my recipe, it was eggs, cream, milk, sugar, nutmeg and brandy.

Response to: Western Animation or Anime? Posted December 17th, 2012 in Art

To me, it more boils down to the right kind of visuals for the right kind of story. I tend to watch more anime than western cartoons, but that doesn't really have anything to do with one being better than the other. Western cartoons generally are trying to achieve something totally different than anime is. Most western cartoons are more situational, slapstick comedy and don't try to have any sort of meaningful story. They just want to make you laugh. Anime, on the other hand tends to be more serious. Even in the goofiest of anime there tends to be some fairly serious moments of story and character development. I think the appeal of anime is that it's far more diverse than western cartoons. It's pretty much as varied as T.V. or movies, where western cartoons just focus on comedy.

Response to: Drawing in pen? Posted December 17th, 2012 in Art

I work alone for 8 hours at night for 2 nights a week, though, and I figure that's as good a time as any to practice a little. The only problem is I've only got pen and a small lined notebook to work with. So for now I'll just be using that.
A few shitty doodles I've done already, though I didn't put any real effort into those, since I was working the day shift at the time and was focusing more on work.
I work from 11pm-7am, so I figured I'd make a thread now so people can see it during the day and ideally give me some tips on drawing with a pen. I'll try to update tomorrow night with something.

It doesn't matter what you draw on or draw with. Being a better artist is more about learning new techniques and putting in the time and effort, and less about the quality of the tools.

Hmmm. yeah I'm definitely NOT getting anything popping up. Maybe my browser is blocking it? I'm using crome so it should be fine right? hmmm....

Art Portal "crop Your Image!" Posted December 17th, 2012 in Where is / How to?

Forgive me if this isn't the place to post this but I didn't see anywhere better for it.

So, I've just made an account, I've validated and set up my profile, now I go to submit some of my drawings to the art portal, and I fill out all the fields it wants me to and check all the boxes I need to and click to submit, and it gives me a message saying "Crop Your Image!" I know for sure it's not over the 4 million square pixels limit you guys have, so I'm kinda confused. I wonder, am I supposed to be cropping it for a thumbnail like I had to with my profile picture? If that's the case, it doesn't even come up for me to do that.

Anyway thanks in advance for your help.
