If you're willing to do any job you can get, you could probably get one (probably a minimum wage, soul-crushing job, but if it's only for one summer, then it's bearable). The biggest thing that is probably preventing you from getting hired is the fact that you can only work seasonally. Most places don't want to hire and train someone only to have them work for a couple months and then maybe not even come back next year. If you were to apply to a chain and then make it clear that you were willing to work while at school at another location of the chain, you might be more likely to at least get an interview.

Radioshack, Walmart, Dicks Sporting Goods, even a couple of local jobs. They're all retails though since everything else was unavailable. I even put my resume on careerbuilders.com. they helped me range jobs based on my resume, and I still couldn't get one. Even tried the care homes, still nothing. I think I'm done for the summer, since I go back to school august 15th. I've applied for on campus jobs, but I've heard nothing. It'd be worse when other students are looking for jobs. It'll put me at a disadvantage.

I've only had 3 jobs in my life, and all being computer based work. If anything, the referees of this whole organization deserves the championship. Even if the referees made mistakes, and they are horrible mistakes, a team capitalizing on mistakes clearly isn't championship material.
