and if you are going off of the religious standpoint, the bible may say that homosexuality is a sin, (though in my opinion all religion was just made up way back when to give people hope so they were less scared of death, if people thought there was nothing after their life here on earth. what would they live for?... religion is a bunch of bullshit in itself.)... however, the bible does also say 'no sin is greater than another' as well as 'don't hate your neighbor'.
