College or Work? Posted April 24th, 2010 in General

So here is the situation. I am graduating in May and I still do not know what to do. Military disqualified me because of asthma. There goes free ride! Also, my knees are getting worse. I still need a MRI & possibly surgery. My truck isn't working. I don't have a job. My question is should I do the loans and try to get through college while having a part-time job or should I go full time on the work force for a year, pay for my medical expenses, fix my truck, and go to school later?

Best Baseball Joke! Posted April 24th, 2010 in General

Three baseball fans were on their way to a game when one noticed a foot sticking out of the bushes by the side of the road. They stopped and discovered a nude female dead drunk. Out of respect, the Cubs fan took off his cap and placed it over her right breast. The Red Sox fan took off his cap and placed it over her left breast. Following their lead, the Yankee fan took off his cap and placed it over her crotch.

The police were called and when the officer arrived, he conducted his inspection. First, he lifted up the Cubs cap, replaced it, and wrote down some notes. Next, he lifted the Sox cap, replaced it, and wrote down some more notes. The officer then lifted the Yankees cap, replaced it, then lifted it again, replaced it, lifted it a third time, and replaced it one last time.

The Yankee fan was getting upset and finally asked, "What are you, a pervert or something? Why do you keep lifting and looking, lifting and looking?"

Well," said the officer. "I am simply surprised. Normally when I look under a Yankees hat, I find an a@#hole."

Response to: Would you go back in time? Posted April 22nd, 2010 in General

That was around the first time I ever got hurt. I did something beetle-headed I shouldn't have and dislocated my knee. Now I have limited mobility in my right knee and weakness in my left. I could back in time and try to live a safer life or take the $50,000 and get the surgery needed. I choose going back in time because there is also some other things I missed out on.

How far does it go though? The Pledge of Allegiance? Everybody talks about "catering" to people who only speak Spanish. Why don't we just do the Star-Spangled Banner in Spanish? That already went over real well.

Racism: Thinking one race is superior to another.

The word you are looking for is prejudice. I'm neither. The only reason I complain is that you should learn the language of the country you want to go to.

Also difficult to learn Spanish being raised on a different language.

There are many Mexicans trying to get into this country legally and actually learn English. The people who are only fluent in Spanish are most likely illegal (not racist, hard truth). These guys hurt our economy by getting cheap jobs here and send the money back to their country. This might be nice for them, but this takes away jobs from Americans and money from here. It hurts us. Whoever calls us bigots are ignorant and ought to try seeing from an Arizonan or American viewpoint.

The Princess Bride was actually funny ( retarded name though). I would go with Field of Dreams or For Love of the Game ( I like baseball movies).

I live in Arizona, so I deal with this everyday. What really got me bellicose was that my Gov. papers had it in Spanish. Also, you can vote in this language too on the ballots. My state says they want to stop illegal immigration, but everybody always start complaining, "RACIST! RACIST! F@#% you Sheriff Joe!" The whole thing overall gets me mad.

Well, it removes the training portion too. There is people out there that think since they own it, they know how to use it. This could cause problems.

Now in Arizona, you can carry a firearm on you without a permit. Somehow, I don't think this is going to end well.

According to John Locke, a man has to give up certain freedoms to be in a society. More Freedom, less Safety. vice versa. Still, America is a good place to live ( Even though it is hard to get good health care without insurance).
