well, unfortunatly stuff in the audio portal (or all portals really) is ranked by votes and not reviews...

although a option to sort songs/stuff by reviews would be rather nice... because, yes that would be a more truthfull score... *hint hint*

Biased voting habits? Posted September 16th, 2007 in Audio

I have been watching the audio portal for a nice little while now... and I have noticed that if any song from a certain artist gets into the top 2-3 pages or so, within 1 day, the song losses .20+ points... but only one extra vote has been cast... a clear sign that a 0 or maybe 1 has been placed on a song.

Voting 0 is fine, except when it is on a song with a rating of over 4... that is over a year old (so it has obviously stood the test of time). I do believe that some other artist or user, is abusing 0 to keep songs from this artist from being heard, and not because of how good the song actually is.

Not enough people vote in the audio portal, so it has a much more difficult time to correct itself when something is out of balance.

your right. new songs DO need to be heard AND voted on, but they should not be given a automatic first place.

and yes not enough people vote in the audio portal.

*flame you back*

petition bout audio ranking system Posted December 20th, 2006 in General

it needs to be fixed...

somehow, some new song like this backwards hearts (which really ought not to even be in trance section) is in first place...

while diamonds like this ...bounc3's PoE are disapearing into the lower ranks, and out of the top 50

who knows how many other great songs have sunk out of the spot light because other "5.00" songs have bumped them...

now go ahead, and flame me

canada is for (mainly) librial/socialistists.

librals(and some republicans) who get in the way of smaller goverments PLEASE go there and let the USA return to a land of freedom, where the government cant tell us what to do.

its funny to see satilite pictures of the koran penisula at night. the botton halve is bright with citys and lights, while the top halve looks as if it does not even exist.

that ALONE is proof that socialism/comunism/whaeverism does not even compare to a true, freemarket economy.

what is the point of working if you cant spend the $$$?

there is nothing wrong with vacation, its just another part of the worlds economy.

and besides... if people travel to desolate places, and see horribly poor people, they will want to do something about it.

humans were originally veggie eaters, (true if you are a evolotionist or creationist) how can it be bad for you? Also, certain things combined will give you the nessary viatimans that you need.

Response to: native americans need to get out! Posted May 31st, 2006 in Politics

the current system with the natives suck. they either need to become citizens and co-exist with us, or create their own communitys, but still follow the rules (like the quakors)

or something else, but the way it is right now is not good.

any "free" school system will fall into shambles.

less than 50% of people can find new orleans.

about the same amount cant find iraq,

homeschoolers seem to always beat public schoolers in spelling b's and debate clubs...

bullys seem to run rampant, as the school (due to their system) has little if any reason to protect our kids.

and yet 50% of my local taxes go to schools...

there are already semi-invisible cloaks, a "camera" on the back to record what is behind the guy, and then a "projector" in the front to make it seem see-through

correct me if im wrong but most synthetics are plastics and the plastic industry is a dirty industry which is just a by product of the oil industry possibly the dirtiest industry in the world

correcting you.

the amount of polution that humans produce is marginal compared to the same gasses that volcanos and the oceans do.

and most polution we produse can simply be filtered out. smokestacks that beltch out polution are practicly non-existant (like the stacks and smoke you think of in "the jungle" or when you think of the late 1800's... all gone now. )

Tell me. When did you actually make a conscious decision to not be gay?

about once a month.

Response to: Hiv Fear Posted May 29th, 2006 in General

"don't be gay", implied that a person has a choice.

are you saying that people have no say over their lives?

that people have no control over themselves?

that they are dumb animals that run a predestined life?

no.

sex is a choice, having sex with a man is also a choice.

Response to: Hiv Fear Posted May 29th, 2006 in General

why you should get tested twice

"Also, if you exposed to HIV just a few weeks before you get tested for HIV, the test might say that you are not infected when in fact you are, but a test won't show it until weeks later. So you should both be tested once, and after about 3 to 6 months be tested a second time, before you can be sure that you are both HIV negative. (Of course, this assumes that you both have committed to not having sex with anyone else, and that neither one of you has been exposed to HIV since the first test.)"

Why the hell would being gay increases you chances?!
Its the same risk as having sex with a girl.

Just where a damn rubber. >:(

gays have a statistictal advantage when it comes to getting those things...

here is the data

44% were men having sex with men (BEING GAY)
20% were injecting drug users
12% were heterosexual
4% were men having sex with men who were also injecting drug users

20% were "others" eg: sex outside of marrage, or hiv from parents.

AND you must rember that gays are a very small minority (>1%), yet they have been able to take 48% (60% if you include heteroseuals) of ALL HIV cases.

do the math. dont be gay.

Response to: Why time travel would never work. Posted May 29th, 2006 in General

we can only hope that there is a way, and there may be ways that we have not thought of yet.

time travel backwards in time is possible, but only to the point where the machine is created, you cant go back past the point when you turned on the machine(and it cant be ever turned off). fowards... not been proven yet.

warp speed is very similar to time travel, and theroys are around on how to do that, if that becomes possible, then time travel is not far off.
