Response to: Guitar Song Help! Posted June 6th, 2009 in Audio

when i started playing guitar the first song i played was for whom the bell tolls by metallica and i found it a good beginers song however i think you need to find simple songs that you like otherwise you won't have any desire to finish the song. If you want you can pm me if you want any more advice i am currently very bored as i have finished all my exams and have nothing left to do.

Response to: Guitar Tabs. Posted April 16th, 2009 in Audio

guitar tabs are very simple to use each dotted line represents a string on the guitar as representerd by the diagram below the one on top being the high e and the bottom line representing the low E. now each number on the dotted line represents the numbererd fret you play so for example below there is a 0 2 and another 2 this indicates that you play the top 3 strings with your fingers on these frets any other confusing just shout

e ----------------
B ----------------
G ----------------
D ----------------2
A-----------------2
E ----------------0

well this goes back to nature versus nuture whether people are evil because their parents brought them up to be that way , accidentally or purposefully, or they were born evil. my personal opinion is we do inherit a lot genetically and our parents have a lot to do with the person we are today however it is up to the person to choose whether to be destructive or constructive with their lives to live in the present not in the past

hmmm, the mix of ying and yang arguement, i have nothing against this view it's just that it doesn't seem to work in the real world (just ike socialism) for example people on the extremes of each end there seems to be more who are extremely evil rather than extremely good.

so therefore humans would be more evil than good. however it may be because the meda seems transfixed on corruption and greed and rarely presents news on the goodness of people. i think i just answered my own question however what are your views and opinions?

Are we evil? Posted February 17th, 2009 in Politics

after thinking about all the wars, genocides and all the other horribile things we have done as a species I was wondering if any act of good could counterbalance the evil acts comitted, also if humans are generally good or evil. Any thoughts and opinions?

Response to: Universal Healthcare, yes or no? Posted February 15th, 2009 in Politics

Yes I live in the UK where we have free healthcare and there is no reduction in the quality of the service. it also makes sense economicaly speaking as healthcare is a merit good and therefore it is underconsumed when put into the market mechanism therefore to attain full marginal social benefits e.g a workforce that is healthy enough to work at maximum efficency every day, you need to set the price at zero so that it is consumed enough.
