Then get off of your lazy ass and draw something, that's the only way to get better. Not "hoping" and getting art done for you. Then, then you will see some improvement!
Sorry for the tone of this post, but I didn't know any other way to say this...

Nice job with colors and lighting (which was the point of it)
His hair looks a little dead though. =0
also, damn, all the swedes are good at art!!!!?!?!21!
Try doing something realistic and non-cartoonish, maybe.
That would give you a better sense of anatomy and stuff, plus let your style (which is... common) mature a bit.
Not bad overall though.
I KNEVER NOED TEH INTERNETZ WAR SO DANGARUS!!!

Congratulations, your dead body is worth $5650!
Doesn't that make you feel great?
I think I'll sell it!

You will be improving quite a bit over the next few weeks, so make sure to post pics as often as possible! Tips wise, just experiment with different shades of color, a lot of brush settings, and work from a reference every once in a while to get a good feel of how you will use your tablet! Try drawing something with a pencil on a scrap paper, and then open up photoshop and try and draw it again. Pretty soon you will realize you can sketch on a tablet as well as you can on paper!double posting because nobody ever replies to my threadThis is my COW37 entry that I didn't get to submit because the voting was made a day early.
I only had to do a background, too =(
Yeah thanks awesome!
I've been sketching stuff a lot, but not much of it is colored well enough for NG.
I'm really not used to coloring, so I'm still learning. The sketching is going well though =D
Here is my COW 39 or something, post-apocalyptic creature.

Very nice proportions and poses!
My only crit is to make a little more muscle definition on the arms of the guy in the middle.
You're style is very nice though.

The Arelioboa Rota
This malformed species is believed to have once been the wild boar. The Rota has no eyes, for the high radiation levels in the air scorched out generations of eyes until they were replaced by the many nostrils and, on tendrils from the top of the Rota's head, infrared and heat sensors. The mouth of the Rota is made from a slimy substance with a long frog-like tongue for catching cockroaches, the one abundant animal in this post apocalyptic world.
What looks like the mouth underneath the nostrils is actually where waste is disposed of. The Rota's entire intestinal tract is in it's "head" with the room in it's jelly-like and shiny green abdomen reserved for emergencies (mostly of the radiation variety) where the Rota can pull it's head and legs into the body and pull it's hard, platelike tail around itself. At night or when the sun is clouded over the Rota retracts it's tail into it's body to save the weight of carrying it. The rest of the time it is used as sort of an umbrella.
The legs in the front are hard and plated so they don't have to be retracted into the body, and they are used to propel the Rota forward across the scorched earth. The back legs are used for digging, and are dragged when the Rota moves. The back legs can also work as springs should the rota need to jump.
Ah, there we go XD

dile, your entry is amazing.
Blood red knife, your entry is well made, but there is very little of the creature showing, maybe add darker parts of the creature inside the hole.
Mine is almost done.
The thread for next week will be up kind of late monday so I can draw a good mascot, ok?
=)
I think I'll just believe this stuff is yours. =D
Nice job on the painting but the lighthouse seems a bit squeezed.
Also, when you take pic's of your art could you crop them a little closer in photoshop? (see white part on flower paining)
I like them both though.

Not exactly in the middle. Usually eyes are slightly higher than the middle, but it depends on the person. Within a little bit of the middle and it should look fine, provided you do the forehead shape correctly.

He has a really fat tie.
Where are the buttons on his shirt?
He has no left hand.
How come his legs get wider as they go off of the page?
The face look fine, pretty cool, but you need to spend more time on the bodies!
