wow that looks bad so close
that came out way to big
i promise it all looks better when he's shrunk to the size he was in my sketch

Instead of having the gradient go from Blue-Black try and create a common color to compliment the blue. Blue-Light/Dark blue and for an even more realistic gradient Light blue-Darker blue.
thanks you for the advice
the main problem with my backgrounds is that i don't spend nearly enough time on them :/

(in P.S.)
thank you so much, this will save me much time flipping each layer by itself and then dragging it to the right spot
how can i flip an image horizontally w/o merging all the layers first?

fat thighs=juicy ass
she needs some shading on her legs though, just a little
and luis already mentioned the elbow
nicely drawn face and body though
her "shirt" is also flowy, which is cool

There are diffrent types of anime manga etc. But for the less smart people in society who just like it for porn purpouses wouldnt understand. Unfourtunatley for you kids i was trying to have a civil converstaion but what the heck is that anymore. The IQ in societys youth has dropped way bellow normal. Meaning whoever said i was a stupid tool whatever that means you can go piss off because i study art for a living unlike some people who mooch of their momma for a living. Well if you actually want to talk about anime i am discussing the poll on everyones favorite show.
Naruto
Gundam Wing
Lain
etc. use youre imagination
ahhh
hahahahahahahahahahahaha
stop posting
you sound like you're fucking about 90, and you still like shit like naruto and complain about people who "mooch off their momma" .
well
if you want a more civilized community with less children and teenagers, try conceptart.org
it kicks ass
the "i.q. of society" has not dropped way below normal, you just fail to realize that you get older, and as you do there are still the same age groups thinking the same things
thus, it is not society losing intelligence, it is your perspective changing
ahahahahahahahhhhhahah
seriously though your post was funny

yeah, but if all you draw for is feedback, do something you're better at or like in itself to get that feedback.
however, just cuz im pro drawing, i say keep doing it

much better
draw like this
Good idea.
Now, is there a way to make my photoshop brush act more like a corel painter one, so that it feels more like paining?
it "drags" the other colors and such
i have both programs, but I hate corel painter. ugh
thanks for any help
you should give him a big floppy cock, just to be funny
seriously though, his arms need to be higher and his neck less blocky
pic looks good otherwise

I LOVE babies. so kyoot X3 that's so typical girl, I know, lol.
it is quite cute, and well done
the collar bones (if that's what the middle parts are) shouldn't stick out so much if the baby's that fat
cuz it is super fat
or if they're neck muscles, babies don't have neck muscles for shit
badass art theh, though
here's a project for school
i got a month, an' here's the sketch
(it's for english though, the main part is a paper. i don't take art class)
any advice would be nice, like how to arrange the kids
they're all on different layers so i can change that around
also, I can add or take away parts of them, whatever
reference pictures definitely used, jeez
backgrounds also not there yet, cuz im tired and i was busy today
Thank you for ye help/
is this better?
any other help would be appreciated, still

Make straight line from the eye the back of the head, the draw a line straight up from the back of the jawbone, or an angled line in porportion to the angle of the head (which is tilted back somewhat in this case.)
Hope this helps.
Ah
thank you so much
now i know where to put them in the future to
teach a man to fish...

Ahhhghgh!
Other miscellaneous tips appreciated.

Ok, here's the finalized pic. Any thoughts or suggestions before I sumbit it?
How is that possible, really?
Get rid of one of the darnellkids (or whatever the black ones are)
or at least change one of them, they're just copy-pasted and it looks bad
otherwise, submission is fine
Here is my very unfinished Dad 'n me

Dis' friendly fellow visited me in a dream and I spent 15 mins sketching 'im. Should I complete the picture?
Thanks for the crit on the face, but I jus' need input about the spikes right now. Using them seems to be the way I'm leaning right now.
At 3/2/08 07:05 PM, DarkSytze wrote: the armor looks really good, though the face/head doesn't look good since the body hangs abit shifty, and the face is straight onto the picture, it'd look better if you rotated the face abit.
Thanks, and I can easily rotate the armor and stuff so it's straight. The problem is that I draw with my head tilted :P
also, the nose looks like a pig-nose, might be because you are trying to draw the face in a different perspective then the rest of the body. i'd suggest drawing a regular nose to see if that would turn out better.
He sure is a pignosed chap. I'll fix the face later, probably after all the rest because faces are a bitch. His face should be in shadow at the end anyway, but thanks.
At 3/2/08 06:46 PM, kernalphage wrote: what would it look like if you put every other one on the right side?
don't duplicate it completely, because that would look too much like a Christmas tree.
I don't think that would look good. Also it would make the sword too fucking hard to pull out of someone after you stabbed them. Would be like a one use blade.
Here's the sketch of the guy. THe blue lines are for armor, the black for person, and the red for chain mail.
ch-chk
Here is the spiked version. Sorry the spikes are so unfinished but I didn't want to spend too much time on something I may not use.
