I'm a bit suprised that Miz's team won last night. I thought for sure they would even his score with Morrison to 1 to 1. I guess WWE is giving Miz a chance to be a stronger heel than before while also giving the rub to the new guys they are pushing.

I wonder how HHH will react tonight since he got hit by Sweet Chin Music several times in the match. It will definatly be an interesting turn for DX.

Man, Kofi is on a roll. I hope this continues since he is so damn entertaining in the ring.

I think your spot on as usual. However I'd like to see HBK get another chance to hold the title. With HBK on top it would give us a chance at at least some somewhat new matches and could lead to HHH/HBk at Mania, which would be great. But I think you are right in that Cena will probably win and that Hornswaggle will show up and ruin things. Wait...Is DX really fueding with a little person?

When I look at Kofi's team I keep thinking 'One of these things is not like the other, one of these things doesn't belong." lol

It's especially stupid when you consider how WWE has been pushing their product is TV PG and they're going after kids again. I mean, shouldn't the point of Punk's gimmick at this point be that his ideals are admirable, but nobody likes a preachy self-righteous ass? It's a lot like what I thought was a bit stupid on ROH commentary when they'd sit there and be like "he looks down on you if you're drinking a beer or smoking a bowl while watching this" and it's like "uh, shouldn't we NOT be promoting illegal activity?" but considering the audience they market to, it's not as big a stupid as what Tiffany said last night, yeah.

Thats a very good point. Didn't Hogan used to tell kids to stay away from drugs during the 80's? The WWE needs to understand that there is line that they shouldn't cross with this kind of material. Punk is doing a good job in his role by acting like he is better than the audience but they also need to remember that they shouldn't fight him on the point of doing drugs. His attitude should be the problem, not the fact that he doesn't drink or smoke or do any of that other stuff.

Pirate Paul was a fun gimmick. I doubt he'd go back to it though. I do hope they put him on SD as his talent could really be utilized there.

It was good seeing Punk on ECW again, his teaming with Regal was good as they seemed to work well together and this helped them get some momentum going into the PPV.

One thing that pissed me off though. Tiffany saying that Punk wasn't human becase he doesn't drink. Look I get it that Punk is a heel and being straigt edge is now uncool in the eyes of the WWE but come on. I don't drink either so to hell with you, worst speaker on T.V. ever Tiffany.

You didn't get a super kick Outlaw, but I hope that was satisfying for you.

Indeed it was. When they were setting him up to do the pose, I knew/hoped something was up, and seeing him get the pedigree made me mark out. I hope he stays away fro a while. I was tired of him messign with Chavo months ago, so now I hope everyone can move on from this.

I'm not a fan of the brawl scenarios, but Kofi and Orton going at it was great. They both made the other guy look strong. (for the most part) That is how you work a feud before a PPV. Shame that they waited until the last minute to do it. Still, I'm excited to see more singles matches between the two in the future. Which reminds me, what was up with the late cue for Kofi? It was awkward.

Their brawl was really helped make the night. I am so glad WWE is giving Kofi a decent push with one of their top guys. As long as his team doesn't get squashed at the PPV, the momentum he is getting could really help establish Kofi as an upper level guy, something WWE needs.

Piper's segment with Vince was great. Piper listing off his injuries was one of the best segments I've ever seen.

I think age is really catching up with the hot rod as he seemed more incoherent to me. Still it was a great segment when he called Vince out.

And ending with Undertaker holding the belt in the ring with everyone out of commission. I can't think of a better way to end a show.

Agreed 100%. Raw was great last night and I'm happy with what went down. Striker did a great job on commentary and worked suprisingly well with Cole. I guess King will get his yearly match sometime down the road since "Pale and Red" nearly kicked his head off.

Yeah, I really think it is...it's all a work remember, Punk is not a bad person in real life.

I agree. Don't let this stuff invade your dreams like that. Its a show. All good stuff needs a hero and a villian. Punk just happens to be a fun villan to watch. In the end good will prevail but the journey sure is fun to get through.

Piper should be a good host tomorrow. That big tag main event looks to be good too. It will be interesting to see Cena and Taker work as a team.

SD was good last night. Jericho and Undertaker has a really great match, so I expect that when they go at in on PPV it will be even better. I'm suprised Jericho got so much offense in, it was really an even match for most of it.

Ziggler/Morrison was great too. Shame they ended it with a double count out, but I understand why. To me it is only a matter of time before Ziggler gets the IC title.

Anyone else laugh when Batista got flipped over?

Here is an interesting interview with RVD. He talks about the new ECW and how it was such a huge letdown/ You can read it here.

Speaking of that, I do think they have done better in making the ECW belt worth something. The title defense Christian and Regal had was awesome.

I don't know about you guys but Raw seemed lackluster to me. Nothing really stood out to make the show great. The main event was good as well as the Bourne/Swagger match but other than that not a whole lot going on. I sure hope the ECW title match delivers tonight.

Hatton getting a bullseye on his first try was awesome though.

Something is wrong with the Rumble? I hope this story breaks so I can be filled in.

So Raw will be held in England tonight. The guest host is Ricky Hatton..I have no idea who that is. I always enjoy the overseas shows as they get such different reactions there. I don't remember what is supposed to happen tonight but I'm looking forward to it.

Tomorrow Regal will be getting an ECW title shot in front of his hometown crowd. It will be interesting to see what kind of reaction he will get. It's a bit weird that the two guys that they have from England are heels on ECW.

You went to a WWF event?! LUCKY. I HAVE TO GO TO A LOUSY OLD(new)WWE EVENT. LUCKY!!

Yup. It was right after Mick Foley (Mankind) won the WWF title for the first time. The main event fore that show was Mankind and Stone Cold vs. The Rock and the Big Boss Man (R.I.P.) One funny moment had Rock being chased by Austin being chased by Boss Man being chased by Manking. They did like two laps around the ring. It's funny that I remember the main event and the opening bout which was between Al Snow and Goldust (Snow lost, then argued with Head for a while in a very funny moment) and nothing else. Still, it was a great time.

Sadly, I am slowly becoming a fan. I am becoming a fan of heels, heels, and ONLY heels. :( Help me.

A dude who used to post here used to say "Fuck the faces; Hazzah for heels" Stone Cold started out as a heel as did HHH. Heels can be cool.

Nothing wrong with house shows just so you know. The first WWE/F event I ever went to was a house show, and it was a blast.

I just want to say that Jamie Noble sold the beating he took like a million bucks. There could be no doubt in your mind that a powerbomb on the outside of the ring can be a devestating move and it made 'Pale & Red" look tough as hell.

Am I the only one wishing that Hornswaggle gets super kicked in the near future?

That Taker movie sounds silly, but at least it will keep him active.

It's offical. I'm going to the Royal Rumble!

Anyway, Raw had it's ups and downs. At first I thought the segments with ozzy were great, since he's so damn funny. but when they had that talent segment I was like Ugh... Not this crap again.

I did like some of the matches though. The opening bout was good, as was the 6 man tag. I thought Jericho and Big Show would fight each other more since they will be opponents at the next PPV but it makes sense that they would gang up on Cena.

Taker vs. McMahon would be a total waste. I'd rather Taker go out with a better match than that. Do you think this may be the last WM he'll make it to? I really hope they keep the streak alive and let him go out with a perfect record.

I might be going to the Royal Rumble. Its being held in Atlanta and there are still tickets available.

SD was good last night. I thought the Jericho/Kane match was better than I had expected and now Jericho is in the title match. Interesting turn for the tag champions.

I wonder where CM Punk will go from here? He's not part of the title match and he just beat up the ref. Will he try again after the triple threat match?

Morrison/Ziggler was a good opening bout and I expect we'll be getting a IC title defense between the two soon.

Happy Halloween everybody! :D

At this point it doesn't really matter to me anymore. Hogan is someone who feels the need to be in the spotlight and will say anything to get it. He's not with WWE so I pay him no attention. I haven't watched TNA in years so his being there has no impact on what I watch. But to follow up on the creative control topic:

PWInsider.com has provided some new details on the developing coverage of Hulk Hogan signing with TNA.

On the creative control front, we exclusively reported yesterday that Hogan WILL have control in TNA, and will be working with the current creative team consisting of Vince Russo, Ed Ferrara and others. While the current creative team will not be replaced by Hogan, he will have a major say in how he is booked and how the company is booked in general. It is being said that the current team will be working on a trial basis, so to speak, to see how well they work with Hogan.

Additionally, it is being reported that Hogan has told TNA officials that he wants to bring in some new talent, and that although no names aside from Bischoff and Hogan are officially part of the deal that Hogan signed with TNA, it is expected that other talents will follow Hogan's lead. This may include names like Ric Flair, as we've been reporting.

As for the new TNA show that we exclusively reported on the other night, it should be noted that TNA has NO PLANS to move Impact to Monday nights, but rather, as we stated, a new, separate TNA show is in the works that TNA hopes can debut on Monday nights from 8-10pm EST. This show is still in the developmental phase, however, and has not been confirmed or announced by TNA or SpikeTV.

Prior to the announcement of Hogan joining the company, TNA officials met with SpikeTV officials and had a meeting in New York City to dicuss company plans moving forward. This meeting was scheduled well in advance of Hogan signing with TNA, and was one of a few meetings the company has yearly with SpikeTV to discuss the future. It should be noted that neither Hulk Hogan nor Jeff Jarrett was present at the meeting.

Time to dig those WCW jokes out of moth balls I guess...

Doesn't TNA still employ Kevin Nash? So they will have Nash, Hogan and Bischoff...Three guys who ran WCW into the ground. Unless those in charge keep their heads and don't listen to everything these guys say then it might work out, but still...Past results have shown this can start out great, but end in an epic fail.

Yoshi/Christian last night was a very well done match. I'm glad they are giving these guys a chance to show their skill and defend the ECW title all while Regal and his team keep messing with everybody.

I have to admit, I really enjoyed Raw tonight. They kept the stupid stuff to a minimal and actually had some sense in those storylines. I totally buy Big Show's reason for turning on Raw and I like how the rest of the roster got some payback in the final match of the night.

Kofi/Jericho was easily the best match of the night. I really hope this is a sign of bigger things to come for Kofi as his work tonight made me feel like he was the star of the show tonight. Will Kofi get a win or two when he and Orton have a showdown? I sure hope so. The crowd likes him and he's really talented. I hope things go well for the dude.

That weird bit of moves Santino did made me laugh so hard I cried.

So Cena will have to face DX in a triple threat at the next PPV. This will be interesting since it could give a reason for DX to go their seperate ways afterwards. Speaking of that, I really think Legacy needs to split. I think Ted can hang in the singles division, though I'm not convinced about Cody.

If I'm reading this correctly, SD beat Raw two to one last night right? Miz was the only Raw brand person to win last night. Very interesting indeed. I'm suprised at these results since I thought for sure that DX wouldn't lose. Also from what I have heard the Miz/Morrison match was a solid one with a lot of offense by both guys. I hope to see some highlights tonight on Raw.

Cena is champ yet again and the title has changed hands in too short a time. ugh...

Wow, Batista did a heel turn? Things are going to be interesting on SD. I'm sure this will lead to Batista/Undertaker again. I just hope CM Punk doesn't get lost in the mix.

And that's it. Thoughts

Pretty much right on the money in terms of what I think will go down for most of them. I have a feeling Raw will win thebig match though simply because Raw has always been the flagship show and management wouldn't want that to be tarnished in any way. It's weird though because on the other hand having the wrestlers say the other brand sucks doesn't benifit them either.

I also think Orton has a good chance of winning. Granted WWE likes to swerve us since we have seen so much hype on Cena leaviing Raw so naturally that won't happen. I'm simply rooting for Orton because I don't like when a title changes hands too fast.
