Very nice. Royal Marines are a solid force.

I enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps about 5 months ago, I ship out to MCRD San Diego on August 6th of this year.

Interesting question, but lest you forget the subconscious comprehension of just about anything and everything around you.

The so "lightning bolt" process of thought, or obtainment of an idea, is not a matter of rocks in a box.

Rather, consider your thoughts an infinite mass of sand, running through a sifter. Every grain that passes through the sifter is stored in your subconscious, and every group of sand, bit of rock, or anything not passable into the sifter remains readily available on top, as a conscious, workable knowledge.

Whatever sticks out to you apon comprehension is what you can eaisly access during the process of though, although in certain streaks of luck or deep thought, you can access knowledge that you have unknowingly comprehended in the past.

So, you aren't really obtaining entirely new rocks, moreso you are discovering rocks in the basket that you forgot about, or didn't realize were already there.

"In order for someone to be found guilty of first degree murder the government must prove that the person killed another person; the person killed the other person with malice aforethought; and the killing was premeditated."

Varients of murder/manslaughter charges are not named based on how bad the crime is, but how the crime was performed.

Get workers who have no family to build some underground area where satellites would not notice extra commotion or construction equipment. Limit the knowledge to only a few individuals in the higher chain of command that you trust with your life, your childrens lives, and your entire familys lives. Kill all the workers and the engineers who designed the thing, bury their bodies in the construction area, and destroy all blueprints and records of the equipment and supplies that were used. Seal all exits.

Dont get me wrong, I think Saddam had no WMD's but it would be possible to hide them if you really had an awesome plan and executed it flawlessly. Wouldnt it be just hilarious if like 70 years form now some Iraqi stumbles into an underground WMD cache like this?

They wouldn't have to go to that much trouble. It isn't like we have every single inch of every single country on earth covered by 24/7 surveillance teams. It would have been extremely easy and within Saddams reach to drive some basic governemtn issue transport vehicles to a nondiscreet area in the desert, and hide them, without anybody noticing.

Then again, they probably have several high security clearance areas that very few people, much of whom are already dead, knew about.

I'm going to go ahead and be stubborn and point out that stating the WMD's were "nonexistant" is unfair. You don't know that. Iraq is 169,234 square miles, and a good deal of fucking desert. We've found catacombs of intricate underground terminals and passageways/escape routes/storage areas all over and underneath Iraq in desolate areas as well as urban areas. If they were stockpiling WMD's, they knew that they had to do a fucking good job at keeping it under wraps.

Not nessisarily saying that they had WMD's, but merely pointing out that if they truly wanted to hide something well, they know their land, and they have plenty of it. Imagine a 169,234 square mile perimiter sand box, 1 mile deep, and you're trying to find a weapons cache.

Also, the whole GWB wanting to one up his Dad, thing. I'm not even going to waste my time explaining just how ignorant that makes you look, just saying that.

War is won by nuetralizing the enemy, not annoying them.

Besides, if you tranq'd every target, realistically, you would have to take them as a POW, and that would be much too costly for us to give EVERY casualty a free Qu'ran and prayer rug, like we do now.

We shouldn't have to house all of them, hell does it for free.

Reasons why [[hypothetically]] nuking Iran would not cause WW3:

-The parking lot formerly known as Iran wouldn't be able strike back or form an allied revolt.

-Who is to have the balls to rise up against somebody who just completely leveled a country in seconds? WWII anybody? Hiroshima? Nagasaki? What happend after we dropped the A bombs? Japan backed out real quick, and nobody fucked with us for a LONG time.

At 4/3/07 10:23 PM, Dre-Man wrote: The difference is, that World War II actually meant something.

I've seen a couple other posts pertaining to this same thing, as well.

Brief history lesson for the memory impaired:

We invaded Iraq based on faulty intelligence which at the time seemed like solid, definitive proof that Saddam Hussein was stockpiling weapons of mass destruction.

We launched a preemptive strike on Iraq in the event that Saddam intended to use the WMD's on the U.S. or our allies. Unreasonable? Fuck no. Saddam had ties with Al-Qaeda, and obviously they mean business.

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons /1/17/TerroristAttacksAlQaeda.png

We covered our asses by fucking them up in both Afghanistan and Iraq, and we even liberated the Iraqis at the expense of 3,000 of our finest, and countless other casualties of other allied forces.

Anyway, they didn't have WMD's. Our fault? Kinda, not really. When given information that is provided as reliable and when facing situations like more innocent loss of life, I think GWB acted appropriately

Today, without any WMDs being found, we're still in Iraq.

Why?

They're going batshit without a dictator, and until all the assholes can cope, we need to stay there and patch the hole that we widened by taking down the dictator.

The majority of Iraqi's did not like the tyrant Saddam, but there are assholes who did.

The remaining assholes are fucking everything up, and those are the motherfuckers we're neutralizing today.

Anyway man, the threat presented by Saddam Hussein and Al-Qaeda does mean something. Even if today we're not defending what we once were, we had a just cause to intervene, and if we left now, that would just be fucked up.

I don't acutally live in America, and of course, have never met an American, but rest assured, my stance is firmly grounded in nothing.

Has anybody ever called you an idiot?

Let me be the first, be it the case.

I don't know about the "Our predisent is amazing" or the "our economy rules", but yes, "We are the best country in the world".

Also, I don't know what you're reading ( or thinking ), but uh, President Bush has a 40% approval rating right now in America, which has rocketed to this point, from a long lasting 32%. Hardly any Americans agree with President Bush.

We all support Israel? What the fuck? I personally support Israel, but I highly doubt that the majority of Americans care about Israel, or even know where it is. You're over estimating the general American publics interest in international and worldly affairs.

I'll also note that almost every American disagrees on something.

I kind of fear what other youth your age think in your country, although I am quite aware of the general worldly perseption of America as a giant monstrer, filled with Bush loving drones and baby killers, but you easily summed it up much better than I ever could, when you said my stance is firmly grounded in nothing".

what they do in boot camp is Jog saying "Kill Kill Kill"

When your about to join the marines they give your a paper. what does the paper say?

Well you can't read it Even if you ask they will Say "YOU MUST SIGN IT FIRST THAN READ IT!!"

and some of the words are blanked almost leaving the paper have a black line and a X

Before

there was "Shoot Any Fucking living thing in sight!"

no it was either killing the terriost and and saving a few people like children or w/e you have to save

Now its different , Way different. Right after MY sisters friend showed me the paper It looked like a person erase alot of information that didn't want know one to see and hes going to Florida to show his Dad(Who was in the marines as well a long time ago) the paper they told him to sign.

I won't argue with you, but I will point out that

": When your about to join the marines they give your a paper. what does the paper say?

Well you can't read it Even if you ask they will Say "YOU MUST SIGN IT FIRST THAN READ IT!!" "

is factually incorrect. I never signed anything without thoroughly reading through it. Whatever you saw blacked out, I didn't see. Quite possibly they were using an old form, with factors that no longer apply today. You will and would not be held accountable for text that isn't there.

As for the "kill kill kill" comment, that is just a cadence. There are tons of cadences, which are just what you chant while jogging to get your cardio up. They are usually sung in the stereotypical military fashion, eg: " I don't know what I've been told/ Eskimo pussy is mighty cold! " etc.

It is also absurd to compare Recruit Training to a Nazi Concentration camp. Recruit Training is for consenting individuals to be broken down and rebuilt in whatever means nessisary. You are pushed almost to breaking point during Basic Training, and ultimately benefit drastically.
