I guess that's what happens when you grow too much, too fast, and get ahead of themselves when they became the de facto factory of the world's goods. I mean, the stories on how shopping malls and large apartment buildings being vacant and even abandoned just a few months after they opened is pretty eye-opening, not to mention the usual story of sub-standard construction of roads and sidewalks in the less developed regions, and legions of knock-off products that they make every year.
As Cootie mentioned, the working population of China is going to grow old pretty soon, and considering the rather draconian "one child policy" in China, {whether or not it's fully enforced is questionable} their are going to be a lot less young people who will replace the older generation in the factories and businesses, which is not good, especially when new businesses, apartments and factories are being built at the drop of a hat.

I always thought that when Joakim Noah went down, that ended any slight hope that the Bulls had of winning the series considering that they did win before without Rose, but not without Noah as well. Not to mention making numerous mistakes at the end of games that they usually don't do before. {i.e not getting the rebounds or missing free throws.}
Not sure why the media consider this an upset when the team loses without their best player.
Well, when a 8 seed beats a 1 seed, that's an upset. With that said however, out of the 5 times that happen, the Bulls might be the only example in where major injuries played a part in them losing, so there should be at least some reasoning for an asterisk, unofficially. It's not like the 76ers had a chance in hell if Derrick Rose was still on the court playing.
Here's hoping the Bulls get Dwight Howard in the offseason.
They should, and I know that Howard won't pull any crap with Thibodeau like he did with Stan Van.
Also for some reason it was barely mentioned, Chandler was named the defensive player of the year.
Well, I guess being the reason why a team defense goes from all-time bad to mediocre in 1 season is enough reasoning for the voters.
I don't have a problem with gay marriage, but with that said, I also support the right of certain churches not accepting to marry a gay/lesbian couple on the accounts of their religious freedom. {Never said that they had a good reason why, but on a technical level, it falls under the 1st Amendment.} Of course, there are always other options out there, considering that I view marriage as a contract by the state first and to a church/religious order second, so it's not like marriage can't be done in a traditional fashion nowadays.
Let's be honest here, if there are people out there who can marry, oh let's say, a farm animal or an anime/VG character {waifu} and people don't bat an eyelash, much less give a damn, then logically, I can't see why 2 gay/lesbian people should get married if they so choose.
Since I grew up mostly with Spider-Man, Hulk and the X-men comics, which I always found to be more exiting and more interesting to read, I would have to go with the Avengers on this one. About the only DC hero that I can find somewhat entertaining is Batman, {particularly when Frank Miller was involved, or the animated series if you include that.} and even then he wouldn't hold a candle to the Punisher.

I remember playing this game a long time ago, and I didn't really enjoy it the first time I'd played this game. But after the second go-round, I kind of enjoyed playing it, now knowing what to do against all those enemies that gang up on you.
A similar game to that that I used to love is Black from EA. True, the game itself was pretty rudimentary compared to most other shooters, the last couple of levels were a bitch to deal with {particularly with checkpoints}, and no multiplayer at all, but for some reason, I go back and play this game over and over and I'm a bit surprised why Black didn't get a sequel, considering how the FPS genre exploded in popularity.
What games out there do you love to play, even though it had some major flaws in the game? {i.e camera, graphics and the like.} There are some games out there that have a lot of bad mechanics within the game that would normally be a deal-breaker in a normal situation, but for whatever reason, you love despite having mediocre ratings from reviewers everywhere.
FOTNS: Ken's Rage comes to mind for me. On the surface, it's a Dynasty Warriors clone, following the manga of HnK, but something about beating up an army of mohawk bandits, fat ass commanders and the occasional overpowered martial arts master seem to get my attention enough for me to enjoy.
Apart from the weather, wild animals in swamps, and the Republicans, who are more on the edge in the south than anywhere else, the one place where they seem to be the most common is Mississippi.
Seriously, Mississippi has to be the worst part of the South. What's so great about that state?
Does Kokouh count? The pony that runs across a nuclear wasteland, who can stomp to death most people, and rode by possibly the most badass villain of them all, Raoh? That's the only pony that I would ever like.
If not, then the only good pony is when they're turned to steaks and glue.
And now, the Flyers are officially out of the playoffs, fuck.
In the first round against the Pens, we was able to outshoot and outmuscle them, but against the Devils, it seem like we did a complete 180 from the previous round and got our asses whipped. Oh, and Bryzgalov didn't help when he got cute with passing the puck to a Devils player, and then turn around and score in the first period, WTF?
As always, it's the play of the goalie that screws us over, time after time, especially when he's "spacing out" again, which is code for having his head up his ass, and giving up easy goals.

Really? My sides almost split with laughter when I first read this. Any relation between Naruto and real-world politics is either a coincindence or simply there as filler. Don't know where you got all this from TBH.
For example, take the Pain Saga. Pain, an antagonist of Naruto, actually wanted World Peace, more than anything actually, however after realizing that Humans will always be in conflict, he decided to unite them under "FEAR".
How orginial of an anime plot device, and even then, they did it pretty bad. If you want better examples, Raoh from Fist of the North Star had a similar goal in mind, as did Prince Schnizel in Code Geass R2, and those are a hell of a lot more valid for a politcal plot device than Naruto. Simply stated, just because it has buzzwords like "FEAR" and World Peace, doesn't always make it political.
If anyone's taken a look in a textbook, you will realize how true that ideaology is. Robespierre after Gaining possession of Rance in the French Revolution ruled by fear, Lenin, Pol Pot,etc. Most Totalitarian dictators RULE By Fear.
You have to be scraping the bottom of the barrel to find anything of, worth idealogical wise from a show like Naruto. The most common idealogy {if you can call it that} I've seen from the series is angsty losers, and an orange suit wearing ninja who should be tested for crack.
blah blah blah, wall of text.
Well good for him, but it still doesn't make it any more political. As I said, you have to scrape the bottom of the barrel to find any serious political worth in any Naruto series.
How someone can say that Naruto is a horrible show is quite ridiculous. You might not LIKE naruto, but saying it's horrible quite the bold statement. As shown, naruto not only deals with issues in politics and life we still deal with today, but also contains vast characterization and development within it's main character. However, not only is Characterization and development with it's main character, but it's with ALL those who interact alongside Naruto, specifically Saskue.
Naruto is about as deep as a kiddie pool in the middle of the desert, and really, you expect a bunch of hyperactive ninjas and useless side characters to have anything to do with serious political matters, and as for calling the show itself horrible, well that's completely subjective and has nothing to do with the point. Remember that the world of Naruto isn't even close to the real world, particularly when the world around them are ruled by wannabe ninjas, perverted martial arts masters and what have you.
Character Develoment does NOT have to positive, and Saskue is used to show how Governmental side deals and betrayals can dive any individual down not only the path of revenge, but the path of insanity as well. Saskue's dive into Madness also brings up a philosphical point behind the concept of Matyrdom, sometimes the cause inwhich an individual dies for is not the cause in which the individual believed it to be.
Well other than the Govermental side, I could possibly see a point with where you're going. It seems like wherever Saskue goes, death, misery and excessive whining is sure to follow, which gives enough reason why most people hate this guy, {including me, who wants to smash his head in with a sledgehammer for reasons I'm not at liberty to divulge, but I digress.} which is of course, subjective.
And before anyone says "HURR DURR Naruto Fanboy", I only started watching it recently because I wanted to have a nonbiased opinion on it.
Well that's fine, but at the same time, you can't exactly expect to see anything political in a series like Naruto, because I would probably imagine that you are the only one who sees anything political, philosphical or anything like that in a shallow shonen series.
People who start their own political parties solely because they want to be President hasn't worked, {as far as I know.} Teddy Roosevelt's Bull Moose party is the biggest example of a third party vying for the White House, and obviously it didn't work for Teddy. The vast majority of voters, {especially those who live in Republican or Democratic heavy regions.} tend to treat 3rd party candidates as jokes more so than official candidates.
That doesn't mean that he won't be getting any votes however, but I would imagine that only a few people out there who have an extreme disgust with the Democratic and Republican parties would be voting for Anderson, unless he has some serious ace in the hole that would be damming for Obama and Romney to the people.

You're kidding right? Even if I was stoned and starving, I wouldn't eat Papa John's pizza, that stuff is nothing more than an ulcer waiting to happen.
Anyways, the op thinks that just because you have a big-ass truck you can deliver pizzas in, it's perfectly all right to act high and mighty, and to be a total douche. Well, I have a simple solution, I just order it to go, and pick it up myself. Most pizza delivery boys are so easy to outsmart.
I remember watching Ninja Scroll with a friend when I was 11, and before then, I was naive to the fact that there are cartoons that could be that violent or even have so much as nipple slips. That's probably the point in where I got more desensitive to blood and gore not just in anime, but in movies and games as well. Still a good movie though.
Also, I missed having Oreo-Os cereal for breakfast, back then, that was the shit.

I think that they changed it back to Kentucky Fried Chicken soon after when profits started to go down, that's what I've always called it and I do believe that using the old anagram in their commericals again. Anyway, the last time I had KFC was about 3 weeks ago, which is a long time, considering I usually eat there once or twice a week.

As for the war in Iraq, we did achieve our major goals of getting rid of Saddam and establishing a democratic government there, along with making the country somewhat safer than its neighboring countries. {if you discount the sectarian violence, which has always been there.} Not to mention that we dominated them on a military standpoint, which was to be expected even before the war started, so I guess if you put that all together, we did win.
True, the methods and ethics of the war in general is questionable to say the least, but at the end of the day, the results speak for themselves, and we accomplished what we needed to do in the first place.

Okay. Usually when I think of overpowered characters and fast paced action, I would think that the shonen genre in general would have plenty of that.
To be fair though, Hellsing OVA, Afro Samurai and some of the Gundam series could qualify with either having fast paced action, overpowering characters or even both.

Oh, and since you're such a Christian fundamentalist, you talk about homosexuality is a sin, {even though I wouldn't think that God cares about who's gay or not as long as they worship him and give him money via collection plate.} do you think that stoning disobedient kids is okay, or likewise, anyone working on the Sabbath should be put to death? {and no, I didn't make them up, they're in the Bible, look it up.}

Oh dear, how long did it take you to find that out?
They need to send more Christian missionaries over there, to explain tot them that hentai, porn and premarital sex is sinful
First off, hentai is not wrong, {well, most of it that is.} and even if it is, it's a matter of personal choice, I don't know why all these fundamentalist Christians think that porn is bad, especially when most of them have a stack of them in a back room somewhere. Second, there was a time in the late 1600's that Christians missionaries were in Japan, spreading the word around, and let's just say that it didn't end well for them.
Japan has been doing just fine without Christian missionaries getting in the way for so long, but it seems like you just can't let them be, smh.
Really, I'm surprised no one mentioned Ohio, considering it does have the highest {or one of the highest} rates of unemployment, and has been known as the meth capital of America. Seriously, looking at all of the gutted, run-down buildings in Northeastern Ohio which used to be steel mills and factories, I swear it feels like your driving in a 3rd world nation almost.
Oh, and the Cleveland River once caught on fire in the 60's, kind of hard to live that down.
I'm in agreement with Dean, adding kids in something like GTA is only going to add fuel to the fire of all of the anti-gaming lunatics out there. Considering how much vitriol there is against the VG community as is by lazy soccermoms and frivolous lawyers who are generally hucksters in real life, trying to push the envelope any more than what were doing right now might be damaging to the industry, not to mention they would be opening a Pandora's box of ideas of morally questionable content down the road, {i.e. having a character blow up a church or a mosque because it's a possible terrorist base.}
Even in popular fiction, there are just some lines you shouldn't cross, because while there really isn't much they can't do in terms of murder, ultra-violence and even sex, something like killing kids just so happens to be one of them.
The thing about it is, it's generally a case of ignorance is bliss, because much of American entertainment nowadays range from mediocre to utter shite, some of us had to look elsewhere for quality entertainment, and Japan seems like a natural choice, considering all of the weird and wacky things that come out of there. {whether or not you would consider it quality or not is up for debate.}
As for J-pop, K-pop or whatever, it's more or less the same thing. Partly due to anime OP and ED themes, people are going to have much more leeway for J-pop than the American counterparts, which has gone down the drain for so long. People tend to gravitate more towards something exotic when the normal mediums of entertainment aren't what they used to be, or simply to stand out in the crowd.

Seau is certainly one of the best LB to play this game, certainly this generation and even all-time, but more so, he was commended for his numerous off the field activities within the San Diego area, which made him an easy fan favorite. From what's coming out from the news, it looked like that Seau had some demons he dealt with after his career, and ultimately committed suicide, although there has been no official word on how it went down, as of now, that's the story that the police are investigating as.
Regardless if you knew him from his playing days or not, Junior Seau will certainly be missed, RIP.
Sadly, the roads where I live rarely, if ever get worked on, probably because the local government is in the red so much by spending a lot of tax money on failed projects or typical pork-barrel bullshit. I always believed the wintertime is the worst time of year for the roads because of the constant ice and snow that's on the roads, and the salt that's used to melt said ice/snow often eats away at the asphalt, never mind the effects of a cold rainy day, which creates ponds on the roads which only makes it worse.
Of course, big city streets and highways are going to get better treatment than small town and country roads, but even so, it still doesn't excuse some a town from ignoring the roadways in the city limits.

In all seriousness, an adult only console will never work, because there is going to be little, if any support for a console like that both game-wise and in sales. It's a miracle that a team like the Browns can have 4-6 wins every year despite roughly 90% of their roster either being glorified Arena League players, or 2nd rate cast-offs who have outplayed their usefulness to their old team. They're horrible, but almost every year, they miss out on the first pick, because they always win a few games they shouldn't.
I mean the good part of the Browns (if not the entire team) were sold to Baltimore, wrecked Couch's career, made stupid decisions after another, and their fans would think beating a good team a big deal to the point that they would chant "Overrated" in the regular season.
They really are in no position to say "overrated" to any good team they beat, because the only reason why they would beat a decent team the last few years is because they got lucky. The Browns are the football equivalent of the LA Clippers, a literal punching bag of a team with horrible management and a dwindling fanbase, and considering that other NFL doormat teams of the past, {Bengals, Lions, Rams and to a lesser extent, Titans.} are now playoff contenders, or at least have pieces to be one soon, it seems like Cleveland's future is very dim.
I'm not really a big fan of Azumanga Daioh, but I thought that Nichijou wasn't that good at all, so I had to go with Azumanga. IMO, neither of them are better than Haruhi Suzumiya though, even with their infamous "Endless Eight" arc, which was rather dreadful at best.
