The only real issue is they didn't have the Pirate vs. Ninja match up. Although, it's pretty much a mood point considering the fact that the pirate has guns and the ninja doesn't have body armor.

As I mentioned in a previous post, the only one I highly disagree on is the GB vs. Spetznaz, considering the fact that although the weapons are similar, the track record between them should have played a small part. The GB have never lost a fight in their history (Vietnam is debatable) whereas the Spetznaz, the only major conflict they were in was in Afghanistan in the 80's, and they were driven out by the Mujaheddin, which were a poorly trained, rag tag group of rebels.

This is Deadliest Warrior, not fucking Teletubbies. The trash talk is not really that different than say Jay Cutler trash talking on ESPN before a game.

When that guy drops the baseball bat all I can think is "asshole" and I can't believe anybody gave that cock-suck air-time on national television. This isn't a fucking rap concert... can't we be a little bit more civilized here?

That's because they believe their warrior in the simulation would kick the other guy's ass. Once again, this is Deadliest Warrior, not teacup time. Besides, it's pretty funny when they lose and start blaming the computer and not on the warriors. "Computer's probably Chinese", for example.

Do we have to insult the native american after we show him his heritage isn't shit? Can't they just shake hands and be cool? Why do they gotta be so immature about it?

I don't really remember that, are you sure you were watching it, or are you upset that your little gladiator friend got his ass whipped by an Apache?
Don't get me wrong, I still watch it... I just hate the parts between the blood.

The swat vs. GSG9 fight was pretty civil compared to the others. Keep in mind, they have respect for the other guys, they just think their guy/team is better. The only real exception would be the GB vs. the Spetznaz, when one of them allegedly flipped the other guy off.

In all honesty, The GB got robbed in that fight, considering the track record of the two special forces are really far apart from each other.

Response to: Is the earth overpopulated? Posted April 26th, 2010 in Politics

Overpopulation is a very big problem in places like India and China, considering they have more people than resources, so in theory, a population control system would make a lot of sense in these places. Of course the U.N would never sanction or condone these actions at all, but try telling that to the people who commit genocide in Rwanda and in Darfur.

I'm a conservative Republican as of 1 year and 8 months ago. And also, where do you guys stand on the following issues?

Women's reproductive rights.

I'm pro-choice, It's the woman's right to choose after all.

Gun control.

The right to a free country means that people need guns in order to protect themselves from tyranny. Of course tyranny is different things to different people, but I would get rid of gun control. Look at Switzerland, almost everyone, if not everyone has guns and they don't worry too much about crime.

Defense spending.

We don't need to spend anymore than we have to. The military will get its share, but the seaports and the borders need a lot more to keep up.

Health care reform.

Make health care affordable, and if they so choose, have a government run health insurance plan for the lower class.

Taxes on the upper class. Should it be less, more, or stay the same?

More taxes on the rich, but only by a little bit.

The relations between the U.S. and Israel.

Break it off, Israel is rich and strong enough to stand on its two feet, JerUSAlem in not nessacary, considering were in so much debt.

Whether Israel deserves to keep all of its land or give some to the Palestinians.

I don't like Israel that much, that said, they deserve their land and the Palestinians are bitching about nothing, especially when the Muslims have land from Lebanon to Pakistan, 50 miles of sand and dirt isn't really worth it to them. If the Palestinians want peace and freedom, then just leave Palestine and go to Jordan, Syria, etc.

Obama's presidency.

Not really impressed, though cleaning up Bush's messes will take some time. But i'm not going to support him much longer if he doesn't get his act together.

Feel free to include more issues that I may have left out to discuss here if you guys want.

Energy: It's rather simple, create and support renewable energy sources, {i.e solar, wind, nuclear} though it will take some years to fully replace oil and coal. Until then, continue to drill for oil in Alaska and the Gulf.

Censorship: Nudity and cuss words shouldn't be censored at all, The FCC was orginally designed for managing the tv and radio signals so they don't interfere with each other. Free speech in America is a right, that includes profanity, nudity, etc. It's up to the parents to choose which is okay for their kids to watch.

Corprate Bailouts: The only ones I supported would be the airlines after 9/11, and that was because it was a unusual situation where thousands of people were killed and all the airline companies were grinded to a halt due to terrorists. Other than that, no company should be considered too big to fail, if they do fail, bail out the people so they can bank or insure with someone else.

In all honesty, I really don't know where I fit in a political spectrum, some things I agree with Conservatives {gun control, border defense}, and others I agree with Liberals, {abortion, censorship, even drug use.}

First, a lot of people outside the US dont have freedom of speech! Second its not all Muslims, so get off your high horse when you say THEY need to learn. I know plenty of Muslims who couldn't care less what people say or do.

I didn't say that all muslims were nuts, genius, I said the fanatical muslims, you should read the whole post. As for the freedom of speech issue, yes I do know a lot of countries don't have this right, but at the same time, I highly doubt that they even air South Park in those places anyway.

I use you as the person to quote but it I say that to all of you who instinctively lash out at the unknown (it makes you look weak for fearing the unknown) and just because its cool to hate Islam at the moment.

I'll bet you didn't read my post, so I'll say this, I do not have a problem with most muslims, just the nutjob ones out there. As for fearing the unknown, if you're trying to scare me, you failed badly, not to mention you probably misinterpreted the quote just so you take me as a xenophobic asshole.

It would just be as stupid as me saying "Hey America YOU need to LEARN about social tolerance"

That's public school for ya, they generally teach you love and tolerence and shit like that.

Damn protestant reformation, you Americans would all be waging a catholic crusade in the name of the pope or some BS like that. If it were not and an English king who liked to wife swap and colonise. Thats right your horny Henry the VIII is the reason you hate Islam.

Now you are way off base here, first of all, I'm am not a very religious guy at all so don't clump me into the religious crusaders. Second, what does Henry the VIII have to do with South Park or even Islam? Last time I checked, the Pope started the crusades, not some fat ass king in England, so basically your history is way off the mark, and you fail at being at NG's little badass. Next time, read the whole damn postbefore you comment.

Response to: Big Banned Roethlisberger Posted April 21st, 2010 in General

It doesn't really matter, Pittsburgh will finish in third place behind Baltimore and Cincinnati. As for Roethlisberger, basically he is screwed, because in a best cast scenerio, he would have to wait until the middle of the season to get them to .500 at the end of the year. Worst case, he will probably end up with the Raiders or the Bills, and finish in last in their division.

Clearly, Goodell won't put up with any troublemakers in his league, regardless if they are black or white.

No, it's not that I'm against games that are "hard" it's just that the genre is dated and has no room for innovation. You're paying $60 for a bunch of animated character models and backgrounds.

Just because it's dated doesn't mean it's any fun or can have any room to innovate. And besides, isn't that what video games are anyway? Look at Call of Duty for example, the animation for the enimies would be to shoot, throw grenades and go limp after they get shot, That argument you just made makes no sense because animated character models and backgrounds are in every game, just in different ways.

4 Super Bowl losses in a row will do that for ya. I guess you could say they are the Phillies of the NFL, before 2006, that is.
I give you a B+ for effort on that analogy, but a D- for accuracy, especially coming off of 2008 and last year's WS appearances.

What I meant in the comparison was the Phillies before the 2006 season, not the Phillies of 2007-09. Hope that clears it up somewhat.

Sure they may have lost more than won in the WS, but at least they have some wins. I you're going for overall most losses as the analogical reference, you're closer, but still not right. Arizona has the most losses in the NFL.

I would agree with that, although the Cardinals date back over 100 years, whereas the Bills go back to 1960 as an AFL franchise. Therefore, the W-L records would be skewed to some degree.

Personally If I were to compare the Bills to a team I would compare them to the '51-'53 Knicks as they lost in the championship round 3 times in a row, haven't done much since and stink today. Or maybe the '67-'69 St. Louis Blues as they also lost 3 times in a row.

The Knicks actully won the NBA title in '72 and '73 and made a Finals apperance in '99 against the Spurs. Though after that, they stunk it up and continued it today.

Oddly enough the more apt Philadelphia comparison to the Bills in my opinion is the Eagles; 4 straight NFC championship appearances, just 1 win, but no SB.

That's what I was thinking of now, but the Phillies argument I made in an earlier post poped first into my mind. Hopefully, that cleared up any confusion.

To be honest Buffalo has been in such a rut I find it hard to get excited anymore. If we keep getting screwed by the injury bug we'll never get anywhere.

Not a lot of free agents want to go to Buffalo, due to the fact that they never get out of last place of their own division, and it's brutally cold almost all season. Not to mention they only have 7 games in Buffalo and one in Toronto every year for the past couple of seasons really dilutes sales and proves that the Bills will not be in Buffalo for much longer.

Also a buliding for wrestling, MMA and combat sports would be awesome too, not just for the fights itself, but Martial Arts schools like Ju jitsu, karate, boxing, etc. would also be cool. An anime/manga store would be pretty neat, with an anime festival every year on Main st. with a big-ass dance floor would own big time.
