I must say that many of the posts in this thread have me very disappointed in the NG community. This is a game about people. That's it. The girls have disabilities, but they're still girls. They are human beings with hopes and dreams, needs and wants, crippling insecurities and hidden strengths.

In Shizune's route, you only have one choice to make, and it happens when Shizune is somewhere else. She is so controlling she almost literally takes the game away from the player.

In Lilly's route, you have to be completely open with her, holding nothing back. Because she is blind, she can't know that something is wrong unless you tell her.

Rin can't use words to express her feelings very well, and so it creates a barrier between her and other people. She wants be understood, but she can't talk it out and her paintings are incomprehensible to anyone else. In the end, you both decide that it's not necessary to understand someone to love and support them.

Emi keeps people at arm's length because she's so afraid of them being taken away from her. In order to have a happy ending with her, you have to show that it's ok to let people in and and to support each other.

Perhaps the most touching (for me at least), Hanako's route is a deconstruction of white knighting. At first you try to coddle her and treat her like fragile porcelain, and if you keep this up, you get a very bad ending. Hanako is stronger than anyone realizes. You have to treat her like an equal, helping her when she needs it and asking for help when you need it.

This game tells a story. Sometimes stories have bad endings. Sometimes good. Sometimes they make you weep with joy, and others with sorrow. Laughter and tears commingle in a cornucopia of human emotion.

This sounds interesting. I would like to join the Department of BBS. Who do I talk to in order to learn more?

The swine flu is a thing that the U.S. made up to have a reason for getting Mexicans out of our country!
FACTS:
-The so called "deaths" are fake, they're just people going under a special witness protection thing.
-We all know that the U.S. wants the Mexicans to pack their bags ans go home.
-Even though Mexicans do sometimes have a tendency to fuck pigs, that can't make a mysterious new flu.
WHAT DO YOU THINK?

Fact 1 Debunk: Prove it conclusively.
Fact 2 Debunk: This country was founded on freedom for all. There are several Mexicans in high-ranking government positions.
Fact 3 Debunk: WTF? Bestiality is illegal, immoral, and downright pathetic. The swine flu did actually come from pigs, but not through sex. You can get a cold if a dolphin sneezes on you. It was affecting pigs for long time before it infected humans. Viruses mutate. That's all there is to it.

Wise Words from Obscure Personages Posted October 18th, 2009 in General

This is a thread for posting quotes that you found fascinating. But not just any quotes. I'm looking for quotes from people no one has heard about. I'm not looking for quotes by Robert E. Lee, Albert Einstein, George Washington, Barrack Obama, Mylie Cyrus, and other well known people. To start it here's a quote by Tyron Edwards. Ever heard of him? Good.
