Topic: What do you think?

Posted: 09/09/03 02:07 AM

Forum: General

Amazing; I obviously got the wrong message accross because it became personal to me for what all that I was asking is if you people like long reviews, not mine.

Why are some of you personally attacking me? All I am wondering is if you like long reviews..

I must be missing something, and it must be in correlation to the emails in regards to my reviews because several of you people on here attack me for reasons unknown to me. Either you are simple trolls that are bored and feel that insulting someone randomly will help ease your bordem, or I am doing something improper.

I posted intentionally asking for help, not an argument, which is what I am predicting to get now.

Topic: What do you think?

Posted: 09/09/03 01:54 AM

Forum: General

Now I am fairly new to New Grounds new format (overusage of "new" there.. ugh) and recently I have recieved a few complaints via email.

The complaints were that my reviews for movies are long and annoying, or just filled with swearing and cussing with a plethora of typos that I deem it to be yugoslavian.

I believe that I have been fair in my reviews, giving "constructive criticism" and bearing no bias opinion in my voting (I don't like clocks, but I still appreciate there work). Please tell me what you all think, perhaps, take a brief look at a review of mine and tell me if I am fair, because I hate to be offending people un-intentionally.

So I come to the forums to ask:

Do those whom make animations appreciate long reviews?

Thank you all for your time,
~ O'nus

Ugh.. having wisdom teeth removed sucks.. anyways

I was thinking; wouldn't it be a good addition to have a "Favorite Games" column under the profiles? This way, we can probably get a general idea of what some animators would be inspired by, and when looking at reviewers, we could generally know what kind of games they like.

Anyone concur..?

This may be my last post here...

So I leave some lines of advice..

Once you realise people don't care... you'll stop caring too..

Hope, is a dream..

Desires, are fantasies..

The mountain can be overwhelming, and there are no footholds anyway..

That's all I feel like putting..

Beware, however, there are many viruses out there hiding as K-Lite.

I have a clean version; email me or find me on msn and I will send you a clean version.

I have the feeling people think I may be lying.. however I have absolutely no knowledge of how to hack and I'm not an arsehole. Plus.. virus scanners..

My msn email is: yousucksomuchitmakesmeangry@hotmail.com

Topic: What does your alias mean?

Posted: 09/03/03 11:13 PM

Forum: General

Well now.. my alias has some story behind it, along with my signature, but I will try to be brief because I know long postings can be intimidating and a waste of time on my part, and space on the websites.

I feel associated to the connotation and definition of "O'nus" which is "burden of responsibility" Mostly in an introverted fashion that I've felt people never truly want to speak with me and only do so out of pity (which can be referred to that these people had the onus upon them to talk to me)

Of course there's more to it.. and the ~ NW.oYm-NO ~ but I have yet to be asked about it and deem it pointless to explain. If anyone wants to know, try looking on my website (in profile of course).

Thank you for reading (anyone who did)

You should prolly blame it on your own pompousness.

It seems we have started on the wrong foot.. Perhaps if we were talking in person, my tone would be easier on the ears..

lol, this won't perpetuate much respect.. oh well. Here are the "Bylaws and code of honour" that Zakk Wylde has come up for all SDMF's:

God, Family, Beer
Suicide is not an option
Complaint Dept. Closed
Live life stronger than death
Thou shalt not spilleth thy beer
Refuse to loose/Born to Boose
Respect is to be shown to all Society Dwellers Worldwide
Colors must be worn at all BLS shows and events
Fear no beer
Bleed Black Label Society

By the way DOGMA; I like the song "Marajuana in your brain" and A Clockwork Orange is one of my all-time favorite novels.

That would be the first link then, and a bunch of its kind I didn't bother to post.

Don't try to set yourself above and apart with comments like "if you don't know what it means." It makes you look like a jackass.

The connotation is only arrogant if you deem it so, for I did not at all intend such emphasis. I'd blame it on an inferior mind.
