I know 360p is a low quality, but still some animators release a impressive 360p good quality on YT.
How is it possible?

Am I wrong when i create flash animation with a doc setting set as 1280/720P?

NG vid quality vs. Youtube quality Posted April 16th, 2013 in Animation

Hello,

I upload an animated video both on NG and Youtube some weeks ago.
On NG, the quality of my video is perfect (I made it 1920x1080), the same as on my desktop, whereas on Youtube, the video is so ugly (as a 360p one). However, you can increase the quality of the YT video by setting it to 720p, 1080p, ... but nobody does that.

What I would like to know is how can we upload an animation on YT which have a good quality on 360p?

Thanks.

I still think this free software is amazing :)
But, I'm having issues converting my swf file to a mov one using Swivel.
In fact, when I just add my swf file in Swivel, i get a white thumbnail and 1-2 frames, while my file is 1500 frames.
So I tried to record it manually. It works very well, good quality, no frame loss.... but no sound!

Need help, thank you!

Ok, got answers from Mike, may help some people: Swf files are using TLF Text Fields, which may do some issues with Swivel converting.
Basically, i took screenshots of my text and switched them.

Swivel development team are actually working on improving TLF Text Fields support in Swivel.
