Response to: Killing the weak.A practical point. Posted July 19th, 2009 in Politics

I can see your point. Killing off the weak might be beneficial to our evolution, but tell me, how exactly do we determine who is weak and who is strong. Physically, it might be easy, but mentally, well lets just say some of the smartest people I know would have a very difficult time functioning properly in society due to either their lack of social skills or lack of common sense. And some of the mental diseases that have popped up, Autism for example, scientists are beginning to believe that they are they are actually humanities attempt at making the next step in our evolutionary process.

And the whole good and evil thing, there is no good or evil. Good and evil are human terms and have no part in nature.

Response to: Pitch Your Game Idea Posted October 20th, 2008 in Video Games

What they need is a game where you are living in an apocalyptic world (like usual), one of the cool ones, like a biblical one, cause hey, Lucifer vs. God, both with giant armies of divine beings and demons spawned from darkness. Its a sandbox game that takes you around major cities on earth where you slowly learn that you are the Angel of Death trapped in a mortals body due to a blast of evil from Satan because you were neutral. So you wake up in a hospital, not knowing anything thats going on because your human mind can't process all the memories from the beginning of mortals. Of course, though, people are able to die do to a fail safe you cooked up (with the aide of God and Satan) that pretty much creates sub-division reapers, reapers only with the ability to take the dead souls to the netherworld, but the souls must wait until you bring them to the gates paths of heaven and hell. Now up in heaven, while the armies are being assembled and sent off to fight in these multi-dimensional battles, are trying to bring you back because they need the constant flow of souls to heaven and hell in order for the very universe to remain in a stable condition. They do this by sending a guiding spirit, one with a beer belly, a really bad attitude, and a heart of gold, to try and guide you to either the path of enlightenment, or at least to your usual job. Meanwhile, Satan catches wind of this plan and sends his own spirit to you, the temptress. As the angel of death, you must pretty much relearn your reaping abilities and do missions that bring you down the paths of neutrality, good, or evil. You will be able to use the powers of the dead to complete tasks that can involve guiding souls, judging souls, condemning souls, or killing those that are slated to die. Your enemies to fight will be the mortals(thugs, cops, soldiers, tanks, random fighting robots that know who you are), bosses being either the Pope's new secret fighting force of ninja priests or members of Satan worshiping cults and evildoers that have the sudden urge to hunt you down and kill you, depending on the path you take. Later, you'll fight demons, angels, and sub-reapers. Your weapons will be a staff, a pitchfork, a scythe, a flaming sword, various guns, and your powers of death. Some powers will be things like the whole flying/levitation business, amassing the undead to fight for you, commanding souls to tear away at a victims mind, etc.

Sorry about the long post and any spelling mistakes you find, I got kinda carried away.

Response to: Conspiracy Theory Watch list Posted August 21st, 2008 in Politics

You guys have probably heard the conspiracies like Area 51 has a UFO in it, or that the Jews are in control of all thhe worlds economy, but have you heard of this crazy conspiracy?

Some people think the earth is actually hollow and he north pole and south pole are actually holes to the center. Some neo-Nazis and die hard hollow earth believers believed that Hitler staged his own death and he and his most powerful government officials fled to Antartica in a submarine where they entered the hole and now live below the earth.

Response to: Science VS Religion Posted August 20th, 2008 in Politics

come now guys, can't we have a civilized argument for once. I've seen way to many good threads locked because this turned into a flame war and such. Name calling, flaming, and bashing will not help prove your point. In fact, it just makes the opponents look at you and say," hes immature, so he probably doesn't know what hes talking about."

Response to: Science VS Religion Posted August 20th, 2008 in Politics

the people that say, "oh i don't know" I found are usually people that A. Dont like to talk about religion for fear of being persecuted or starting an argument(like this thread)B. just really want to avod the conversation because they just don't want to talk about it, or C. have been bombarded with so many opposing ideas about religion and science, they need time to process anything they know and finally decide when its their time.

by the way shaggy, an agnostic believes their is a divine identity out there, they just don't know exactly what it is, mostly because our human minds could not comprehend the identity because it is. Just is. Realizing the true vastness of is would overwhelm our though process and most likely kill us.

Technically, shaggy, most of the documents such as the gospels, were written hundreds of years later.

i beleive that god flipped the switch, said "fuck it", put on his coat, and went to the bar, leaving everything to find its own way.

Response to: Avoid censorship Posted August 20th, 2008 in Politics

i strongly agree. I mean, look at japan. They shun nuclear abilities, they make awesome video games, they haven't got into a war in quite a few years, they have crazy-awesome game shows, and heres the kick.... their have perhaps the smallest amount of censorship possible.

I hope we have another world war. That way all the shit can finally be wiped of the earth and allow whatever the dominating race at the end start anew.

Response to: Is there a connection... Posted August 4th, 2008 in Video Games

i dont think there is much of a connection between the two, though does appear to be alot of connections between luigis mansion and a bunch of n64 games, due to the fact that Luigis mansion was already in development when super mario 64 came out. There is a known connection between paper mario and luigis mansion though. In paper mario, luigi actually has a secret room and diary in the brothers hous that is openable after the first act. In it he writes about hearing tales of marios accomplishments during the game. At one point in the game, luigi writes about how he wishes he could have his own adventure, and another part where he talks about how afraid he is of ghosts.
